Games mmo's in particular become stale once the end game is reached. So they started something that no other game has done. They sold us 2 games for the price of 1. A great single player stand alone and a multiplayer mmo. With the release of gta on xbox1 / ps4 and pc they have built a cross-platform juggernaut. From a marketing perspective it's a golden opportunity too build a mmo base that continuously grows and builds on itself. Why have a rank 8000 lvl cap? Rock star figured something out, why do mmo's become stagnant? The end game grind. From dc universe online too world of warcraft the gear grind. I have too play a raid x # of times too unlock this so I can then survive the next tier of challenges. Minor updates too enhance the experience which lead up too the next expansion. For the sake of simplicity we will call it gta 6. Using the same working model as gta 5. Do u need gta 5 too play it? No but if you do it will enhance your experience. Since you will have access to both gta 5 & 6 in the online version your character continues too grow. While the single player version stands apart with the introduction of new gameplay elements ,adversaries ,allies and map additions. Graphical enhancements etc are the only things that could create issues, but that would be easily addressed. With the import feature we already know exists. This would be the way that rock star could give us all those great features we want. Gta 6 could be about a trio of undercover cops involved in ia cartel drug bust that goes south due too corruption aka this is our cops vs crooks mode. And I'm not sure why people think GTA V is better because of it. Sure it needs alot of improvement in certain aspects but in the world of sandbox gaming GTA sits at the top. GTA is pretty much known for its story mode and GTA V's story mode was pretty cool, the GTA online universe on the other hand is kind of a new lane for it'll improve overtime for sure Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
