GTA V Next Gen coming 18th November - PC in 2015.

I gotta be honest, I'm having a hard time noticing the difference between the current gen and next gen versions. Maybe its a testament to how good the game looks already, but nothing I have seen has made me say "holy sh*t".

 

I don't see an awe inspiring amount of difference either.

 

Coupled with new gens low player base, I don't see this working out as well as a lot of you are fapping about.

youll notice the difference most when you steal a car get out and turn around taking your eyes off it and then turn back and its still there and hasnt disappeared like it would on the ps3/xbox360 version, thats how you know youre playing next gen.

It looks fine, but its nothing where i'd say 'WTF!' or 'Holy sh*t' - i wouldn't even spend $20 for these 'improvements'

I've noticed, its a lot more smoother, than my personal experience with the PS3 version. And I play on a 42 inch Sony with an HDMI cable.

 

Rockstar is a business, they gotta make money to make better content. I personally don't have 400-500 dollars lying around to buy a new gaming system when my PS3 and 360 work just fine. But you gotta understand where they're coming from, at a business standpoint. The 360 and PS3 are probably gonna be around only for another four years, tops. Time to start seriously saving lol

THE DUKES!

I'm both excited for next gen GTA with the Dukes but it does make me wonder why it wasn't in the PS3/360 release. It must be better than most muscle's in the current game!

 

 

In IV it pretty much sucked (not the looks, but the specs) compared to the Sabre GT.

 

 

It's not the car's fault if you can't drive

 

 

How do you know i can't drive? I love racing in IV, did over 40 races yesterday and the day before yesterday, lost twice, (been 2nd) because i have been choosing the Super-GT, the weakest Super in IV. If you think you can drive, i am up for the challenge.

I personally won't spend around 500 dollars for that right now, but it's awesome to know I'll be able to transfer my progress to a console or PC if I get one.

Dukes = 68-70 dodge charger. The name is a direct relation to the most famous 1969 charger on TV (if not the most famous TV car ever), the General Lee on the Dukes of Hazzard.

i'm defo one of those negative nancy's as far as this re-up goes. p lame. new shooting range activities? well f*ck me sideways, i can't f*cking wait for that!!

 

i hope there's more to this new gen port than what's been told so far 'cause i don't get why some of you are freaking out. the additions to single player are p lame. online will receive a nice bump w/more people but it's not enough atm, as far as i can see, why anyone would lose their sh*t over it.

i'd been waiting to see what they'd bring to the party before jumping onto ps4. think i'm still going to wait & be a cheapass that doesn't have to pay to play online.. unless another game convinces me to jump on ps4. gta5/o isn't going to be that game as far as today's evidence goes.

disappointing/underwhelming stuff. par for the course from r* as of late tbh..

Hmm, best way for me to describe a remaster....

 

PS3/360 version > Like wearing contacts that are drying out. You can see well but it's hazy and a little blurry.

 

The PS4/X1/PC version > Like putting in a fresh pair of contacts then using eye drops. Feels fresh, everything is vibrant.

I'm a PC player, and I'm happy enough to wait until January. It's not like it's something we should be surprised about, it has happened with every single 3D GTA game to date.

 

The way I see it, I've been playing since last September on the X360 Beta Test Edition. November is the game's Full Release. January is the standard "Few months down the line port to PC".

 

Besides, the fact that it looks like the consoles (footage from the more powerful PS4) can't even get 60FPS, let alone maintain it is reason enough for me to be happy with the additional wait.

 

 

The fact that the PS4 And Xbox One versions will die out in a year or half, The PC version will still live on because of..drum-roll please........MODS!!!!. All the cool sh*t R* didn't add will be added by modders. Screw the PC online version it gonna be trollers everywhere anyway.mods mods mods, we know already! Give it a damn break. It is isn't that big a deal. Think about it. Sheesh!
