of course everything will transfer.

 

1. if it didn't it would put a lot off

2. it's hardly hard to transfer what I assume is a few config files

3. why would they transfer just player stats and not money/properties/cars? would be pointless.

 

They'll want people to be able to just pick up where they left off. they aren't stupid

 

I keep telling myself this is blindingly obvious and what should happen.

 

I then remind myself R* have not bothered to clarify exactly what will transfer.

 

I then conclude I will just wait and see what happens when the transfers begin, irrespective of what R* claims/clarifies before hand.

 

it'll happen. people just love to moan about it... and yet continue to play. That's the funny thing about this forum.

 

If people are on here moaning that the game is awful then they are either not playing anymore, yet still posting... odd. OR posting that it's awful... and still playing... odd.

I prefer Blackberry. I've had way too many problems with just a 4th gen iPod touch and a 5th gen touch. Don't want to imagine what an actual iPhone would be like.

Idk what the f*ck you're doing with a blackberry that's stressful lololol. I actually haven't had a single problem with my Z10, I love it to bits and pieces. Now I just need future shop to start selling 128gb MicroSD cards so I can upgrade from my almost full 64gb MicroSD card.

I have never had an issue with my Samsung phones. Everyone makes decisions based on past experience.

newer ones are nicer since they have active sync for emails etc (i work in IT so most of my experience is corporate related Blackberry useage) but they just suck for personal use.

 

what I will add (and yes we're odd topic but isn't it nicer than moaning about GTA), i'm sad they've stopped selling the iPod classic. Still prefer mine to any touch screen MP3 player

It makes calls, texts and if it's lost no biggie. A phone should be that a phone. A game console should be a game console. It definately shouldnt tie you to 2 year contracts and mess up everytime they fancy updating firmware. Simples.

so do magazines maps and schedules. But I know what your saying I'd just prefer not to be tracked 24/7 by a bit of tech that becomes my life and stops me from looking around. Anyone you pass even in parks anymore have their gub stuck in a smartphone, most forget to look up and don't get me started on the social(face to face) decline part of it. Each to their own folks but cramming all tech into one item is sorta jack of all trades master of none in my eyes. Deffo not for me. Technology is great and all hence my PS4 etc but cramming all in one item imo is the reason we require updates for every bit of tech every week ffs. Jesus you can get smart fridges now like wtf. Nah some tech is a step backwards and a phone is one of them.

So, I'm getting me a PS4 on da cheap.

 

Please convince me to do this with fantastical tales of what it will be like on current gen.

30 player Freeroam on online

Better weather

Better Damage models

First person view in vehicles that lets you see your speedometer and it moves too

New foliage system (real grass that actually moves, not that blurry greeny yellow 2D sh*t)

Increased resolution

Increased draw distance

A hell of a lot more NPC's on screen at once

Highways will actually feel like highways as there will be waaaay more cars driving

Lots of good exclusive content

Possibility for 60fps, if not then we will get a very stable 30fps

New animals

Animal textures have been completely redone

A bunch of other technical upgrades all across the board

Heists (lol)

Less freezing

No more or at least way less texture pop in

And a ton of other stuff we won't find out about until we actually play it.

I think the animal masks from the hipster and independence day updates are the animals that will be on next gen. No point in having masks of animals that aren't in the game.
