me neither smoke. Roll on 18th Nov. PS4 GTA here I come. I'll be glad to burn my 360 copy of the game in a tribal ceremony out my back yard. Gone is the beta days and to be truthful good riddance. Bring on the power of the PS4 lol

Agreed. Selling my PS3 on 11.17.14. I got adult friends on PS3 who have jobs and have bought PS4'S.

Not that, I know that already. The details man, the details! Can we go back to our old consoles? Do we need to do it through the Social Club or in-game, and how does cross-platform work? There's no information on that. I don't want to leave my PS3 friend behind, and my decision is hinging on that.

 

 

Exactly what I want to know. Ability to transfer your character notwithstanding, why should I lose the ability to play on my Original Platform, a platform for which I have purchased the game?

 

This is R*, but surely their logic is not so daft that the transfer will be COMPLETELY from one platform to another. That is, your account is transferred in its entirety from your old platform and you would need to start again from scratch to play with Friends on your original platform.

 

The way I see it, the exact shape of the character transfer could equate out to Millions in additional game sales or not if R* miss the mark with how it works.

As secretive as rockstar is, your extremely naive to think they'd only give u one new car out of all this...

That isn't the point. I bought the game for the system i own, not the one i can't afford (well i could charge it and just not pay the card)

 

Why is a car left out from IV that everyone wants now being used as an incentive to buy the game over again? Corporate greed that's why. And I'm expecting them to do the same sh*t with heists. When they announce heists will be next gen only,I'll gladly join the class action lawsuit they will be facing for false advertising and fraud.

lol yeah I get that a lot, but it's nothing to do with the movies/books. It's a bit of a joke between me and my gf. Long story short she thought I was nocturnal and only came out in the twilight hours

I can't wait to sell my PS3 and rent the games I already own for PS4 with outrageous pricing because backwards compatibility promises to customers need to be changed to make Sony maximum shekels

If anyone's concerned about digital download times. I literally just bought Forza two hours ago, went to get something to eat, came back, and it's ready to play with 29% downloaded of 36.5GB on a 20mb/s down speed.

 

Edit: Scratch that, it wasn't even two hours, it was an hour.
