Release Date for PC, Xbox One and PS4 Announced

Today I experienced the most ridiculous conversation in my life. Some twat told me that having a high end gaming PC is worse than having a next gen console. I asked him why. He answeared because you can do more things on a console than PC. He also said you can plug in 4 screens into a xbox 360 and play games using 4 screens. The worst thing out of all of this is not his stupidity, but that other people heard the conversation and agreed with him. Last thing he mentioned is that the PS4 has better graphics than the high end pc. They were being all serious throughout the conversation.

I never understood the pc vs console debate there shouldn't be one. i can understand console to console for nit picking, but if you want to play it on pc great, if you want to play on console great. just enjoy the game for whatever platform you buy it for. To me PC will always be better, but i play console cause its more convenient for me.

Oh, sorry I thought you're talking about the NG/PC version.

Anyway, on NG/PC they will improve the AI so maybe we'll see more things like that:)

Yeah, it was a bit confusing. :)

I hope to see more of these small details in the new gen version.

I wonder if we get a separate trophy list for the game or if it will share with the PS3 version?
I hope it's a new one/separate trophy list because I would love to get 100% on the PS4 version :D
(I'm asking this because today I read that some people think they will share list since we can transfer our online character from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1)

Sell hardware, eh?

You're damn right about that, Slatoff. I'm buying a whole new PC just for this game.

Unless you're talking about those "other things". :p

Yeah because I am simply not doing the mistake I did back in 2013... Hyping again. Man, if I never hyped the sh*t out of V, I might have enjoyed it more than expected. Well, proabably MUCH more than expected.

I second this. Although i was hyped more with San Andreas and it was beyond my expectations. Or maybe SA was just a better game..

What incentives have been announced for pre ordering the game?

One million (in-game) dollars.

To add to what Staten said: you do get $1 million, but it is divided between $500K for story mode and another $500K for GTAO.

GTA V would break its own sales records from last year, and possibly a few more.

They would also be penniless within a day.

Thank you for disclosing this gargantuan slate of excitable news, Blood. And this is only the first dose that Rockstar has concocted at their disposal :)

With all of the footage and striking new visuals that I tediously scrutinized over to unearth something new, which I surely have, the juxtapositions by 'RaduG' truly, truly speak for themselves. :) The nuances are so immense and amazing, surely beyond Rockstar's prophetic vision of how they sought the definitive versions to be. That perspective of Vinewood's happenings during the night, demonstrates a collaboration of almost every new enhancement in action. The signs gleaming realistically, the signatures of the headlights resting on the saturated roadways, courtesy of the revamped rain particles, the traffic flowing at a unison pace. Words are ineffable beyond what I have already said. :)

The forthright, optimistic deliverance of Take-Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff is akin to that of Strauss Zelnick, reiterating the resounding implication that New-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V will be mind-blowing. :) Personally, the precursor of my hype was undoubtedly the E3 footage, propelled by the Non-Stop Pop radio addends announcement, then the NeoGAF disclosure of details and finally the definitive release date announcements, trailer and stack of screenshots. My hype is poised to raise ten more notches when the next information is revealed. :D

I hope it doesnt, because i havent gotten 100% on the 360 version and would like to play the Xbone version without having to start over. That would be really annoying.

Man what a disappointment...

For the anniversary i at least expected a small post (even plain text) on the newswire...not artworks.

BTW The anniversary has passed, what is your new theory on when we'll finally hear about "Story DLC"?

In a perfect world that would be included in Current Gen as a surprise...

But...well...we're talking about Rockstar.

Why You'll Buy GTA 5 Again on Xbox One/PS4/PC, According to Take-Two
Karl Slatoff says a raft of visual improvements and new content will make the new versions a "very compelling" proposition.
The improvements featured in the upcoming Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions of Rockstar's 2013 open-world hit, Grand Theft Auto V, are so numerous and compelling that people who already bought the game for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will have a tough time saying no to spending another $60 for an additional copy.
That's according to Take-Two Interactive president Karl Slatoff, who said during an MKM Partners Entertainment & Leisure Conference today that the upcoming Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTA V could also help sell hardware.
"Yes, we have sold in 34 million units, which is a lot of units," he said. "The obvious question is, 'Is there anyone else out there who would still buy it?' We happen to believe that there are people out there who have not bought the title yet. We think that GTA V on next-gen platforms could actually really move some hardware as well."
Slatoff went on to say that Rockstar Games is intent on "delivering on a creative vision that will compel people to go out and lay out more money than they already have at this point."
That's because GTA V for new consoles will offer "something very special," not only in the form of better graphics, but also from a content perspective, Slatoff said. Just last week, Rockstar announced that GTA V will launch November 18 for Xbox One and PS4, featuring over 100 new radio station songs, and exclusive content in the form of vehicles and weapons for people who already played the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions.
The game will also offer major visual and technical upgrades like increased draw distances and higher resolution overall. In addition, GTA V for Xbox One, PS4, and PC will include more weapons, vehicles, and activities; additional wildlife; denser traffic; a new foliage system; and better damage and weather effects.
"The world is going to feel more rich; it's going to be more vivid; it's going to be more alive," Slatoff said. "We think the value proposition will be very compelling."
Also during the talk, Slatoff addressed GTA V's multiplayer mode, Grand Theft Auto Online. In short, it's been a big success for Take-Two. "It's fair to say that GTA Online has surpassed our expectations. And it continues to do so." And about its future potential? "The sky is really the limit," Slatoff said.
GTA Online is Take-Two's new attempt to create what it calls "recurrent consumer spending." The online mode lets you spend real-world money for virtual items, which boosts the profitability of the game beyond the initial $60 purchase price. Take-Two has said previously that 70 percent of GTA V players have connected to GTA Online, but the company has not shared any official revenue figures for the multiplayer mode.
"The longevity, and our ability to generate income from GTA Online in the future, is really going to be dependent upon the content offerings that we continue to make," Slatoff said. "We have a long-term plan to continue to offer content to the consumer."
As long as consumers see the value of new GTA Online content and engage with it in a meaningful way, which they are right now, Slatoff says, then, "we really see that this is a great opportunity for us going into the future."

If the PS4 version was the EXACT same as PS3 then I'd still buy it full price on launch just so I could play all my games on one platform. The only reason I kept my PS3 after I got a PS4 was to play GTA V.

The graphics/content improvements are all just a bonus for me.

There might be some surprise new content in the NG versions after all. I'm reading the words 'blown away' and 'amazing' pretty much everywhere these days.

P.S.: I'm not trying to start the hype train.

I really don't care what and if heist will be out right away, i just want the game, because i enjoy it.

I enjoy every gta ever made.

Alittle fun:

Married a monster
Carried a youngsta
Said if you cheated it you will come back to hunt you
She said my filthy world
Makes her wanna hurl
And that's my first verse
My wife, my bitch, my girl
