Anyone like the little dot over the big dot?

I only have sometimes a problem with names on the minimap.

if many people are around the same area...names and dots overlap eachother, wich is anoying like hell

Thank god for the mental state so that almost nobody has the same color

The question is about the target dots.

And for the minimap problem, you could turn the names on the big map off. It's in the options.

Bigger is easier to see. Never had any problems since switching to Complex. But then we can't talk about aiming recticles without talking about headshots!

I like the bigger dot just cause you can actually see it.

Some missions (Coverted on clear day) you can already lose sight of of the bigger dot as is. Making it smaller and even harder to see is not something I'd be a fan of.

Maybe if it was a more standout color so you don't lose sight of it, ok. But long as it's white and blends into any bright background your aiming at, no.

Changing such settings when 5 other randoms coud be in sniping distance(or closer)in 10 seconds is almost asking to get killed

And most situations having the names is handy

Who doesn't? I really don't get why the hell they made the crosshair dot bigger in Online, it only makes the aim less precise.

It was way to small to use on an HD screen at day time. The sp dot was just one white pixel so it could literally be invisible if you play on regular brightness settings. Most people switched over to complex display before online came out, then found it to be much better when the big dot was online.

I find it crazy most of you want the small one online.. People requested this be made bigger after seeing how small it was on IV (HD users only)

If your playing on standard definition I understand why your saying the dot is to big, but come on, it's time to upgrade your tvs.

Ahh see I use complex(ps3) and bro uses default(Xbox) it seemed bigger the other day

So what's better complex or default?

I have used the complex dot since launch and after reading some of the replies I figured I would try the simple dot again. LOVE IT!! I do recall it being too small or blending with background, but now it rocks. Not sure if I changed TV settings or not, but I will use simple dot from on. Thanks

I have a 50" TV now instead of 30" but have not tried switching back to the Simple Targeting Reticle as I have got used to the Complex...Main issue apart from how small the dot is, is that it blends in with the background environment to often. Maybe I will try it for a change.

i have a 70 inch and that little dot is almost impossible to see, you need to be able to change its color and then it would be useful, 9/10 times its the same as the background color so you cant see it. re tard ed. I like the complex better except it makes the rocket launcher impossible to aim, lol
