For the player that contributes the most to a mission/team deathmatch etc?

 

Payouts would stay the same but there's are big extra (more RP/cash) for the player who kills the most/completes the most objectives.

 

I think this would encourage more competition :)

I think the goal was to encourage team play.

 

You could still encourage team-play while awarding a player for MVP status for contribution. Even if it were just towards a new award or something for a tattoo/unlock.

Yeah but then people would fight over who does something. The objective would be to do everything by yourself.

Well, if the player isn't a general a**hole blowing up personal vehicles using stickies on objectives that does generally good on DM's races and captures...

 

...then yes, there should be a reward system for that in particular.

I think the person who does the least (in a group of 3 or more people and within reason, like they shouldn't get paid less for one less kill) shouldn't get paid as much to prevent leeching.

There are bonuses. The person collecting the objective in missions gets 100 more rp than everyone else. I don't play death matches, but have tried them and when I did the top player got a reward during the match and others got incentives for killing that player...I would assume this hasn't changed. Now if you want more of a reward then that's something different, but there are rewards already in place.

I think that this would a really flawed feature if it is ever added.

 

If a player gets more RP or money for either getting more kills or delivering the objective in a mission, then everybody in the lobby would end up wanting the objective more. People would grief each other endlessly just to get the objective (like the meth or documents, or even the objective in capture jobs) and, in turn, get rewarded more. Knowing the GTA community, this will surely happen and you'd see numerous b*tching threads all over the forums and support page.

GTA players are selfish assholes. So it's better to not have anything that encourage internal-competition between team member.

Have incentive to finish objectives first? Do you realise how much that would royally destroy any semblance of co-op? The greedy a-holes will come out of the woodworks and make it their life's mission to ruin fun for anyone seeking a quick mission or two for some cash just for that barely worth it incentive to be the first to finish it.

My point exactly.

People already fight over delivering the objective or who gets to fly the plane why the hell should we encourage them.

GTA online is already full of those players lol i'm just so sick of doing most of the mission by myself while the other randoms clown around doing nothing :/
