I created this a time ago but i'm lazy to translate and publish here

 

Basically, the cars will divert of front of you when you are driving...

 

 

The nice thing, is that it is high configurable by .ini file :)(english and brazilian portuguese)

Holy f*ck, this looks nice! Now if only there were a way to get it where the cars don't stop on a dime on the highway when you walk on it and a few seconds later it's a 60 car pileup.

The problem with this one is that it is too careful, and in case of a potential crash it stops the cars rather than slowing them down. Hence, when two cars go the same direction, one may just stop creating a deadlock. I'm also looking for an improved mod, that does not have this problem and where the "carefulness" can be controlled with a parameter. From time to time I do want to see accidents, but not as often.

 

@Junior_Djjr I like your mods.

(fixed the cars driving like crazy after divert (my stupid error))

 

 

btw: I'm creating a new traffic fix, I hate the currents

will be simple, recontrol of speed of cars with realistic brakes, overtakes other stopped cars and force of physics to cars don't drives like "trains in roads" (thx to LINK/2012)

but on highways will no longer have the cars running fast ((yet?) I need to know how to get the type of path on it)

I'm also not happy with existing traffic fixes. What annoys me is that car accidents are completely removed and not just reduced. Furthermore, they come without options to tweak parameters.

Did you take care of disabling parts of the fix when a vehicle is controlled by other means? For example, when a vehicle is controlled by AI (e.g. during a police chase, or other chases), by mission scripts, or by mods.

a good traffic is very nice during mission too, but, anyway, I can make this for a while

 

 

Known bugs about this traffic fix:

Parked cars will lights on

Bugged anim when the player/ped is lifting the bike to get in... simply don't have the "lift" anim now

 

so... wait... I will fix all this soon

Not just for a while. Add an option in the ini file that allows us to disables the mod while being on mission. This way there will be no disadvantages and we will be on the safe side.

 

You could add more such enable/disabling options for different part of the mod. For example, if there is a problem with bikes or parked cars, then make an option to disable it for such cases.

Hello!

LOVE the idea of "Real Traffic Fix" ! I really like mods that are intended to fix that crappy lazy-crazy vanilla traffic.

Found one issue:

- vehicles with trailers, that appear in front of me while moving on the road lose their trailers and go away. It DOES NOT happen without "Real Traffic Fix".

i can confirm that, same happend with my game,

but just with the big trucks, tow truck and baggage works fine.

Found two bugs:

 

- Sometimes cars will spawn inside the ground.

- Planes (piloted by npcs) seem to be affected by physics as well so they kinda fall from the sky very often.

 

Portuguese:

 

 

Achei dois bugs:

 

- As vezes os carros dão spawn dentro do chão.

- Parece que os aviões (pilotados por npcs) são afetados pela fisica também, então eles caem do céu com frequência.

EDIT: não sei se o mesmo acontece com helicópteros.

I think this can be fixed with other mod, I already planned how to fix it

yeah, I already fixed this now, I've limited the physics to only cars now

 

 

So...

After this:

 

 

I fixed the trailers and all physics bugs of planes, heli, boats or anything
