1.5 seems to make gta3 crash before it gets to the main menu

 

By the way I have been wanting to find out if its possible to hack the parked car generators for GTA3 limit that would be awsome

Good day @ThirteenAG!

I encountered a bug on your open limit adjuster. I can say so because I have freshly installed GTA SA without any mods, just the 2DFX build alone. I encountered an error "R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call Error." After doing some research, it is a Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error. I have discovered that after deleting the Limit Adjuster .ini and .asi files, the game works fine. I have also tried rolling back to your previous Limit Adjuster versions up to 1.4 located in your GitHub. Hoping to see your insight! Thanks! (cross post)

How do i increase car colors limit? Plugin from Dk22 does not work for me and i'm using 1.0 US Hoodlum .exe , and i tried increasing the limit in FLA to 200 but does not work either. Is this planned in a future release?

What a precious question.

The FLA works the way it's configured. Have you considered the possibility that you might have no. idea how to use the FLA instead of telling "it doesn't work'

There is an cleo script in project 2dfx which increases grass distance but in the readme it says the increase is very litte due to limits. I dont know which limit is affecting the grass distance but is it possible to increase or remove this limit?

And what about ped and vehicle draw distance?

Done, The Open Limit Adjuster will testing the VCS PC, Without the Silent's ASI Loader

Just to mention here since you're really struggling to understand what VCS PC is, Silents ASI loader is included in the main DLL so you're not doing anything special.

  • Fixes loading freeze when used with newest PS2 Loadscreens or newest SkyGfx III/VC (aap/skygfx_vc@737214c)
  • Added Streaming Info limit for III
  • Added TxdStore limit for III
  • Treadable and AudioScriptObj limits for III
  • Added extra object dir limit for III and VC

But not release builds I believe. I suppose you mean the ps2 loading screens, but I only have those for my private builds (https://github.com/aap/skygfx_vc/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L986)

Hence I said any upcoming versions. Current releases obviously still work.

I don't know which versions you're coming up with, but my current plan is not to have my personal patches in the next releases.

Erm. The point is anyone that uses old OLA for some reason (p2dfx etc.) needs to update it otherwise they could face issues (it's not only skygfx). It also includes your changes so there's easy way to get latest release without compiling it or trying to find it on your site.

Sure. But this has nothing to do with skygfx.

Not with stable version, no. But the latest changes as of now break old OLA (which is almost year old now). Of course the issue isn't SkyGfx's problem but a bug in OLA. This is "better safe than sorry" so there's no OLA users people with freezes :)
