Marty McFly
That are the problems of stock SA shadows. MMGE uses Shadow Settings Extender which darkens the shadows which makes its bugs better visible. There is absolutely nothing I can do, it is Rockstar's fault. NightHawk107
Hey marty i got a big problem going on over here, for the first time i tried it was ok then i reinstalled gta sa for no reason then installed your enb the game just crashes on startup! my gta sa version was 1.0 Specs: Radeon 7700 HD series 8GB RAM whats wrong? EDIT: oh yeah the sahdows settings extender wont even work just covers the whole map in one shadow (what i mean is after installing shadow settings extender it just makes it look dark) Edited October 8, 2014 by NightHawk107
Marty McFly
Shadow settings extender is already included, no need to install it separately. Did you try on a clean installation? OS? Driver version?

Driver version? yes installed it in a clean untouched SA my OS is 8.1 i know shadows settings are already included i tried it separately to test that if the extender makes my game crash but no, its the main enb help please
Marty McFly
Oh, then I can't help you, sorry. As long as the ENBSeries developer doesn't support Win8 and 8.1 (ENB may or may not work), I can't do anything. @Admins: why the bloody hell did you move this to MAPS?? ENB is a graphics mod, not a mapmod, wtf? Jinx.
MrMateczko
About this whole mods forums redesign, the previous layout was way better for me... About Win 8.1, as it was previously said, just use Mod Loader to load ENB, and it'll work. Probably.

About Win 8.1, as it was previously said, just use Mod Loader to load ENB, and it'll work. Probably. It's still a WIP, most threads in the map section is only a placeholder for now. This new system should be better overall for mod creators and users.

ENB is a graphics mod, not a mapmod, wtf? Ok i tried it again it worked! BUT after that i installed 2dfx tried the game and now BLACK SCREEN again!!! how does this affect the enb!? every time i install a asi it turns it into black screen help? EDIT:i give up now it gives super ultra bloom effects and trails effects and makes texutres go invisible i think i'll install render graphics instead of this because i keep restarting my pc in a bad way by pulling the plug-in because the game wont respond and can't alt+tab. Marty McFly
Did you try the modloader way? Just install the ENB as usual but move the d3d9.dll, enbseries.ini and enblocal.ini to GTASA\modloader\[your folder choice]\, the rest has to stay as it is. For some reason it fixes the Win8 / 8.1 bugs for some people. Oh and get the +151 trainer, CTRL ALT F5 kill the SA process.

Marty McFly
What happens when you have blackscreen? Does toggling ENB with Shift + F12 do anything? Oh and let SA generate a new gtasa.set file, maybe it works then. Edited October 11, 2014 by Marty McFly

Marty McFly
Screenshot #1 and #2: Project Oblivion 2010 HQ. Not the 1.1 one, it contains bugs and is just a mix of original mod and some new textures. Screenshot #3: dunno, I see no trees. Screenshot #4: BSOR American Dream. Marty McFly
Windows 8 and 8.1 are not supported by Boris Vorontsov, there is nothing I can do.
nyolc8
For me it worked on win8.1, I just don't use it because of the non-working light textures (as I mentioned before) But the "thing" itself works on Win8.1.
Marty McFly
Not for everyone. Boris said: "if it works, good, if not, I don't bother." No support means that he doesn't do any troubleshooting or fixes, although many people think it means it doesn't work generally. Reyser
Sorry, but I'm also having nyolc8's problem, and I was hoping if you could also help me My GTA starts normally (with or without MMGE) but the screen goes black in cutscenes and in gameplay. I have a GeForce GTX750 Ti. 1st Cutscene: Gameplay: Hey man, I solved this, only need remove "enbshaders.ini" file from MMGE and black screen disappears. Marty McFly
That breaks some shaders. Why not delete the ENB? That has the same effect. Edited October 20, 2014 by Marty McFly
