Are we sure the speedo is one of the special cars? Is there a street version AND a special partially customized one that is spawning? I see the speedo all the time driving around.

I also wouldn't put the pink stretch on this list. You cant store it and cant sell it. I suggest we leave this thread for cars that are "Special" meaning that they have a street version but these are partially customized versions that can be stored or sold for more than their regular counterparts.

The speedo isn't "special" it's just the same as a hearse. Need one I spawn one.

...Anyone fancy help me to get

Gauntlet

Sand kings

Ruiners

Am on ps4 :)

On ps4?

You don't need help to get these. The Sandkings are easy. First, find a normal Sandking on the street. (If you're having trouble finding one, get any other vehicle from the Off-road class you see, and drive that while looking for a Sandking.) once you get a Sandking, go to Beeker's Garage in Paleto Bay. Wait until a few minutes before 11:00, then turn right onto the main road and head south towards Ammunation. You should see one of the custom Sandkings appear in the Ammunation parking lot, it will be being driven by an NPC who will pull out into the street, turn right, and head south. Just block and jack it. If you don't see a custom Sandking, drive past the Ammunation, turn right at the police station, and go back up north to the second right, make two rights and come back down again towards Ammunation.

The custom muscle cars are harder to find. Driving one that you already have, or riding in a friend's, does NOT seem to improve the spawning rate. These cars have a low spawn rate and it's going to take you spending a lot of time on it to get one. They appear in the parking lots of the three LSCs in the city. While searching, you should be driving a muscle car, since driving the same class of car seems to increase the spawn rate of other vehicles of the same class. I'm not sure if it helps to drive the same model you're looking for, but it wouldn't hurt if you find one to use it. (Meaning, drive a random Gauntlet if you're looking for the custom Gauntlet.) however, I can say that driving a Gauntlet does not guarantee you'll find the custom Gauntlet.

Here's what I would do if you're looking for a custom muscle car. Start the mission "Denial of Service". If you don't have that on your mission list, call Lester, request a mission. If he gives you some other mission, delete what he gives you, and call him back for another (there's a 2 or 3 minute wait). Once you start Denial of Service, first destroy all the trucks, until Lester tells you there's one last one. Don't bother with that one. Why are you doing this? Because for the first bunch of trucks, there's a ten minute timer on the mission, but once you destroy the first bunch of trucks, the timer goes away. The clock in this mission is locked to 12:00, which is prime time for spawning custom vehicles at an LSC. So by starting this mission and doing the first part, what you get is an infinite amount of time stuck at 12:00 to hunt for customs.

Drive to the Burton LSC (the one near Rockford Hills) in a muscle car. If what you're looking for isn't there, I suggest you leave the parking lot out of the east side, turn left to go north towards Rockford Plaza, drive through the tunnel under the building, and drive one more block and make a U-turn in the next intersection. Come back down to the LSC parking lot and check again. If it's still not there, turn around in the lot and repeat the path.

You will probably have to do this many, many times. Be prepared that it may take over an hour of this.

^ You don't even need to be in a Sandking to spawn the two custom ones. They are as easy to spawn as the gang cars were on PS3. Basically just keep making passes until they show up. Once a Barracks appears, it generally means you've missed the window.

I have heard that there are four variations of the BF Surfer that are different than the regular in game versions. They sell for more than the regular ones also. They spawn on the beach in front of Hookies Beach Bar near the Airbase. Spawn between 17:00 and 23:00. I will look for them after work tonight and report back.

Ok, I found two of the BF Surfers. They spawn after 17:00 on the beach across from the Hookie Beach Bar. There only have one upgrade so they technically are a "special" vehicle. The upgrades are the wheel type and they differ between the four versions. Here are two of them. The Yellow and Chrome one has Revolver muscle wheels and sells for $4525.

That's not true either because my general method of spawning the Sandkings is to drive North towards the mod shop, do a U-turn around about the construction site and come back down the road. You'll likely see a Sandking pulling out of a parking space and onto the road.

You're right about the Barracks, but if you're outside the time window, it will basically be there permanently.

Being a first time around car hunter/grabber from the VERY early days, this interest unfortunately went when they (R*) banned and removed what one had in their garage or made them available to buy for all... which was a bit naughty. Seeing this news recently on modded NPC vehicles ignited an old flame which burnt out a while ago for this game. For anyone that cares, Here's a little report on the last few days trying to bag these rides in the hope that it may help others in some way.

First off was the usual tubeyou look at the thousands of vids made covering such subjects as these. As a guide, they can work easily for some, not so for others. That appears to be a long standing rule.

Using an INVITE ONLY session Rambo my faithful character set about obtaining as many as possible. First up to be hunted down was the Chrome and Gold Dubsta's. These didn't appear. No amount of messing with different cars, times, days, hanging around in strange positions and stealing certain cars worked. They would just not appear. Beginning to think this was some mass hoax Rambo's controller person noticed in one video a chopper sat on the roof of a house near to the spawn location and the idea of taking different approaches to this seemed like a good one.

So by 8am the next game day a chopper landed on a house roof opposite this one.

GxiWEljDGUq2sk9FC63Fvw_0_0.jpg

It offered a good view of the approach road these vehicles are supposed to take. Rambo, stood there for approximately 5 game minutes before a gold Dubsta started rolling up the hill. Seeing that sight made the previous fruitless several real hours worth it. Returning after insuring it at LSC showed a chrome unit taking the same route, just by approaching by road towards the spawn area.

5b7kO2v81Eay6bLvyCIdMg_0_0.jpg

Next up was the LSC cars. New Invite session and straight to LSC to see what had decided to lay about. Using a Dominator as seen in a video somewhere (looking for muscle... use a muscle... ) The first strike was the blue Dominator. The same day was the black Ruiner and the dark Sabre. The next day, using a Sabre turbo, turned up the red Sabre. Then nothing much happened for a while.

They all seemed to appear from a first run (from 8.00am) from the garage to LSC using a muscle car and entering via the N/W side entrance to the yard.

Getting a bit frustrated with renewing the sessions and changing the spawned vehicles, Rambo decided to go look for Yellow and Purple Sentinels by the main drag near Eclipse in West Vinewood. They were not too hard to find after a couple of runs up and down the street in another stolen sentinel. Purple one was found first sitting in traffic, fairly dark at night so a bit hard to see at 80mph! All the same, after setting a tracker to it, it was used to find the yellow one which turned up spawning out of nowhere in a line of traffic. So they were both easily found by Rambo at about 11.30pm... no one was killed, just some minor bruising was all

vzySzzhMBEWuTq_tmZ_GeA_0_0.jpg

Whilst in town a drive was taken to the little more hostile hoods where he acquired some lowriders from some nice people. They weren't too pleased though and they pulled out some metal tubes that made banging noises.

These Peyotes (peyotai?) were got in the standard 'cruising around the hoods in the very similar Peyote' way, albeit a standard variant. During the daylight hours. When it's raining there is no one about to attempt to kill anyone so it's much nicer stealing them then. He never knew there was a yellow one though, one that slipped the net.

mZn4O2ZZGkGSGO2TXShNug_0_0.jpg

Wanting to venture out to continue his ever increasing success, Paleto Bay was made the new hunting ground. Here as we know can provide fruit in the way of 2 Sandkings of the XL type. Again, combining information obtained from around the world he set off to track them down.

He decided that it was a bit of a tall order to get both rat loaders and sandkings to spawn as too much was changing, so concentrated on the sandkings alone. He drove around.... and around.... and around... and up.... and down.... for many game days. Nothing was appearing except what had become a very annoying spawning barracks truck. Using a sandking certainly did not make the situation better. Then in absolute frustration early one game morning, at about 8.30am, driving a Baller, he power slided into the main stretch of road from a side street and from behind the lump of the barracks emerged a blue sandking. It would seem that the trick was to prevent the barracks from respawning upon approach and rather try to keep it in situ, hence the driving around the block in close proximity. Sadly, the yellow one failed to emerge.

A new game day and session some several real time hours later, the same trick was tried and this time with almost immediate success! But a blue one pulled out. It was decided to ignore the blue sandking and drive on by. Exactly seven laps around the block later, the yellow one emerged. Happy days at last.

YxNCX5qSiU6qjbeNMgNgWA_0_0.jpg

...Still bugs me those directional tyres being mounted wrong like that....

Whilst in the area the ratloaders time in hiding had also come to an end. Using the guide time of 8.00am until 6.00pm, many days passed with no turn out. It is a popular spawn point for a trailer and tractor unit though, but no good for car hunting unfortunately. Many types of cars were used to attract the spawn with no success so small pickups were used and had no result either. Was this a fake? Those are the kind of things that go through his head when all attempts are being exhausted.

Bored and deflated, Rambo went and fooled around the town. He discovered a pickup yanking a small boat driving along and decided to take it for himself. Passing the ratloader spawn point, what was sitting there? A green ratloader. As easy as that right?

Himself spawning in a new session later at 'Donkey punch family farm', He began to make his way to finding a suitable vehicle to travel around in when what passes the farm but these pickups with boats on! Sure enough, the very first visit to the location of the ratloader, there it was... a rotten green ratloader... again. Ignoring it like the blue sandking didn't work and the yellow ratloader refused to put in an appearance.

UNTIL! Read from this very forum, a drive through 'Cluckin Bell's' car park, through a fence and over some farmers..... through another fence, some trees, a ditch, and back onto the road... and there it was... pure gold. Well, faded yellow, but it had at long last turned up! The yellow ratloader.

xCvWFkBjSUKdcnWsS_PWeA_0_0.jpg

FUN FACT: whilst messing around at Donkey punch family farm with this little truck, He managed to kick in the back window and can confirm that his one at least, has an alarm. Why? Who knows, it wasn't even locked.

o6QWz0jXN0OXzD40yjPWdQ_0_0.jpg

Now with the short stay at the farm coming to an end it was back to the big smoke to clear up some unfinished business with the LSC modded cars. Looking for the green ruiner (pictured 2nd pic above) this time. First hit on LSC and there was a purpley red Gauntlet sat there. He didn't even know he was looking for this one, so that was a bonus, but the ruiner was a pig. The black one appeared again, so did the Red sabre, but one rainy day whilst driving a standard ruiner, there it was. Which completed the set so far....

h6upgZWUsUSXW2RtuXLdWg_0_0.jpg

(remember the other ruiner is pictured with the ratloaders :beerhat: )

FUNKY FACT: A sentinel showed up at LSC whilst hunting for muscle. Here is a pic of it in it's exact spawn location, unmoved and just as it was found at around 3.00pm game time.

nN071rL8Ek6WqfxHNr_9Tg_0_0.jpg

Now, I've had to sell a lot of my favorite machines to make room for these, so don't be taking them away :r*: Please.

Next on the list is the red Peyote to compliment the gang cars but that is being a total nightmare for me right now, even after using some tricks shown and explained on here. But, after scooping that lot up in one hit after another (sort of) I think Rambo needs a break from car hunting for a bit, and my eyes do too.

Hope someone enjoys reading it as much as I did writing it and hopefully it may help someone right out!

Great collection man, I found the unaffiliated Manana the hardest gang car to spawn but the red peyote wasn't easy either. If you use the technique I wrote about in another thread at the second spawn point they will spawn near enough to %100 though. The blue tornado is still my favourite.

PS the spawn at LSC maybe universal for the new non gang cars, I've spawned a chrome dubsta there..

Did the sawn locations for the non gang cars changed on the PS3? I can't seem to spawn them as much as I did in the past.

Is there any new info on getting the Unaffiliated Gang Cars to spawn on Next Gen (PS4/XB1)?

The parked car in the scrapyard seems to never spawn on current gen, and my friend who managed to snag the Red Peyote (completely by accident) claimed it was simply being driven by an NPC.

Is OP's method still the best? Or has anyone had any luck following a different method?

The only place the Unaffiliated Gang Cars spawn on Next Gen (PS4/XB1) is at location #3, the driveway on Grave street, near the Balla's Spawn location

The 3rd Unaffiliated Pimped-Out Car Spawn Location:

Now for Unaffiliated Pimped Vehicles to spawn at their 3nd Spawn location spawn you MUST be coming down the street from the the Families Turf, and Gang Car Spawn Location. At Least this is how I have gotten it to spawn. It should be parked on the right-side of the road in a driveway. Usually with a driver in it and some Ballas nearby.

3rd_pimped_car_location.jpg

Also the best time to try to spawn the Unaffiliated Pimped Cars at the Third Spawn location is during the day on weekdays(in game time), but it is just simply rarer for vehicles to spawn here at all.

BUT I have found a better way to get these vehicle to spawn there, all you have to do is be in a Gang vehicle that is the type you want, then drive north on grove while looking backwards until you reach the Families turf then go in reverse until you reach the driveway(still looking in reverse) and just keep repeating this until the car comes driving out of the drive way, BUT I will be re doing this entire thread with over 70 videos very soon, I just need a few days to edit the videos.

and a second method given to me by a friend is to drive "SLOWLY" up to is following the purple line on this map:

I am not sure but check out the above answer, it applies to Next Gen, BUT possibly also to Last Gen too, I just have tried to look on Last Gen.

I spawn the unaffiliated cars at the other spawn point it works much better than Grove street. I collected all five there, I didn't bother with Grove street.

They only removed the scrap yard spawn, so that leaves two working unifilliated spawn points if you remember back to your ps3 training.

He collected it from the alley where it comes out driving, same as on ps3.

Using your approach has been the ONLY method that worked for me. I used a Maverick 'copter both times ((and now a Frogger too)). First try I spooked the driver and he got away. Second time I had help from an NPC so I had time to run in front of it and grab it.

First time I've heard of using an aircraft to spawn a car, but hey, it worked! Thanks!

This has been the only method that works for me on Current Gen (PS4). I wasn't exactly sure of the first method you stated - I wasn't 100% sure where I should be looking when - but I mostly just drove around the block (up Grove St -> Forum Drive - > back down to your friend's route) and that worked for me. It worked best during the day from after 12:00 until 17/18:00 or so on weekdays and Saturdays, but never on Sundays.

I managed to spawn all of them except the Blue Tornado, which was at the bottom of my list, anyway.

Thanks for your/everybody's help. This is really a great thread with some awesome, helpful people. This really brought me back to the days of farming for a Nemesis, Intruder, Voodoo, Sentinel, etc. and it's been awesome.

See for some reason my GIF has stopped animating, it used to flip between 2 pics the map and the car in the driveway, not it is just the car in the driveway, like WTF. But I am editing videos as we speak and this will all be better understood in video form soon enough.
