Why does this work for you but not for me? With your settings the game crashes when loading a save

Would you mind uploading your save? If it works with value 105000 I wouldn't worry too much. I've got King of San Andreas 100% game save and that loads up fine for me.

@nWo51289 it works for me too with these settings. But these settings have way way more changes than the ones a stock FLA+your changes from last release have.

Hey nWo could you help me combine your mod with TTDISA? I got it to work by deleting everything TTDISA doesn't need to function and combining it with SA LODLESS. I made a combined LAs.ipl which is the only map file TTDISA actually works but has random crashes durring missions or at 21:59PM for some reason (which Theo's mod doesn't have by itself).. it's such a shame Lodless isn't compactible with almost every good mod out there, still I prefer it over them since I don't even want to play TTDISA anymore without the lodless stuff lol

 

It works for the most part except these crashes and the interiors not working properly, even after combining the gen_int.ipls together.

Do you have a crash log when you get one of those random crashes? I can look into doing a version combining TTDISA and LODless.

22:00 crash was  caused by the lighthouse files in maps being removed. Trying to fix the enex right now but it's not making any sense. I will combine all the files and see if it works.

Are there any bugs?
- While loading the game, when the loading bar reaches the end there will be a few seconds of waiting before entering in game. This will take longer if you have texture mods installed.
- When entering a interior and the game plays the animation of entering through the door, you won't see any buildings as LODs are by default loaded. Hopefully sorting this problem will be as simple as _DK's binthesky.cs script along with the problem above.

How do I install this?
- Extract the files in put_to_root_of_gta_sa to your game directory
- Double click on SA_LODless.bat and let it do its job!
- Done!

- NOTE: You need to install this on a clean copy of GTA SA!

Can I install this using Modloader?
Yes!
- Create a folder in Modloader and copy cutscene.img, gta3.img & player.img from your models folder to a newly created models folder for this mod within Modloader
- Follow the steps above

 

Notes

What is 'LoadMap.cs'?

LoadMap is a cleo script which includes the binthesky fix by @DK22Pac, increases ped/vehicle LOD distances & preloads the map before you spawn. If you want more control over these, download LoadWholeMap & MixSets by @Junior_Djjr

 

What is included in this version?

SA_LODless 1.1.7, Things To Do In San Andreas Version 1.5.1 and numerous added DFF & COL fixes (Notably for LA & SF)

 

Why install this into archives?

This version installs all the files into gta3.img & player.img and keeps the archive structure from the default archives (DFF >> TXD >> COL >> IPL) while also adding the new files from the TDDISA mod which allows it to work without Modloader. (Doesn't add new files to the end of the archive)

 

I see lots of errors!

The Command Prompt will show errors about missing LODs, don't panic as the LODs were deleted in the first place!

I think I did something wrong. When I install it "deletecutscene.ims" and "SA_LODless.bat" remain in the game folder and game crashes on 5% loading giving me this error (no other mods)

Yes, I am using the one provided.

 

If I turn off vehicle and ped models limit it loads to the end and then crashes haha - 0x00409CFC

Yes you did everything right. Can either re download the zip above or copy all the files inside the data (excluding maps folder, do not copy that!) folder from TTDISA OV to where you installed LODless. Reason for the crash is I forgot to include the data files & main.scm script from TTDISA 😖

The same crash with 0x00409CFC at the end?

 

What sizes are your cutscene.img, gta3.img & player.img? If you copy the gta3 folder from TTDISA OV (TTDISA OV models\gta3) and paste it into where you installed LODless do you still get the same crash? Are you loading a game save?

Also I think it would be better to completely remove the vehicle changes from TTDISA txd dff dat cfg files. I removed them and it works fine without (on only ttdisa version and my mix of ttdisa and lodless, which i deleted already lol)

Size of archives are exactly the same as mine so all the added files were installed.

 

0x004C678E error code is caused by hitting the limit of vehicle model limit again. I can't replicate that error. Doesn't TTDISA replaces/uses unused handling lines?

Can you post the FLA config you are using? maybe you uploaded the wrong one in the rar

 

Also SA_Lodless.bat doesn't self delete after it's complete? Maybe I need to put another file too or not?

 

It's most definitely the fastman settings, if I use the one provided from TTDISA it works, but with your it doesn't, I think you uploaded the wrong settings.

 

It only works with IIIVCSALA+FLA with TTDISA default settings and it crashes when I spawn a car (unmodified gta) + srt3

edit: maybe game ran out of memory, removing loadmap.cs made it work with srt3 without crashing.. so far lol

 

 

Configuring the FLA, increasing mostly anything makes the game crash :/   also most of the crashes are kinda random i.e. once it crashes while loading, restart game and it doesn't

So LODless works by itself? I just reinstalled LODless+TTDISA 10 times and each time worked with the settings that comes with the zip. You can delete that .bat as I forgot to add del command in batch. My settings increases the vehicle model limit, disable that and see if you still get a crash when spawning a vehicle. After all that the vehicle model limit is not required for LODless+TTDISA to work and can be disabled. The only limit that is increased in fastman92limitadjuster.ini from TTDISA OV is below, hence why it works with III.VC.SA.LimitAdjuster.

I've had this problem for years now. After flying around the map (with SRT or Rosa installed) for a while the game 'stops' loading anymore models. See here for more info. As you've said it seems the game runs out of memory or maybe a texture 'pool' is getting filled up. First pic shows some models that the game just couldn't load up with SRT when loadmap is installed.

Then how could these crashes be explained even? The game doesn't even want to work without OPENLA and FLA... Only OPENLA/FLA by themselves crashes...

Don't even know what that crash means. Does it crash with that error all the time leaving the gym or is it random?

 

Finally got all of SRT loaded. SA_LODless+TTDISA+SRT. Few blue 'holes' but can easily be fixed.

At random, the problem is definitely from limits, since I can't run it without using OpenLA as well as fastman, but I need fastman because I use added cars (turned them off while testing lodless, separate limit adjusters for each of them)
