I don't think you realize the meaning of the word "assumption" since you seem to be a very big hypocrite. I recall you saying you could smoke the competition, that's making an assumption claiming that you're better than anybody out there. Tell me, what's your preferred track? Supercar Big Air?

i will never put those on my car. the most i would go is tuner/muscle tires because they still are street tires, and give out similar effects.

It depends on what type of car and what the advantage would be.

 

For example I would sacrifice a convertible roof for a hardtop so the car could have the extra downforce it would need to have that extra bit of traction.

 

However I would not sacrifice good looking rims on a sports car for some ugly off roading rims just to get a handling advantage, Most sports cars handle quite good and even at that most players enjoy a challenge, By challenge I mean trying to drive a fully upgraded Dominator without a spoiler.

 

It all comes down to personal thought really.

 

Edit: Even if off road's do provide added traction don't high end rim's do the same thing?

I feel like the only car that can get away with the GT wing is the Jester.

Tbh, every little performance detail only matters if you race competitively in a racing crew. If you just race with random players, it's not hard to get a podium finish if your driving is at least somewhat decent.

I roll my eyes when people clearly font see that the feltzer was based off a mercedes-benz-clk-dtm and think the gt wing is rice. On another note no I still wont put offroads on anything but offroad or my sultan (except broughy want to ruin my Roosevelt by having me add turbo lower it and put offroads on because he needs a fm roosecelt to test)

 

 

That is actually engineered down-force (on the race car) and putting a huge spiler on a Feltzer is anything but.

I trust Broughy's testing, and I see the benefit in the off-road tires. I'm also a part of Broughy's crew, just for the sake of full disclosure.

 

But there's no way in hell I'm putting off-road tires on my sports cars. The only car I have them on is my off-road modified Dubsta 4x4.

I've been putting off road tires on my cars for a while, just to reassure myself that I can maintain control. I don't care if they're ugly, R* didn't give us better off road tires. It's like saying the high end wheels on a sports car is ugly because it should have sports wheels. Seriously, f*ck your opinion, all wheels serve a purpose and I'm using them just for that. It's all about opinion, and everyone thinks theirs is right.

 

I have a (non chrome) adder with off road wheels. It's a beast in police chases and that's what I intended on using it for.

Not on my "for fun" cars though... unless that's what they look good with (I.E. Rebel, Bodhi...)

I put offroad tires on everything just so I could look cool like the fast guys. Since it's a step down the path of ugly, I also made the rims stupid colors and used white lettering on the tires. f*ck style.

Real racers don't add install ugly wheels for a little performance boost. Rocking grippy tires is extremely boring, too.

 

For people posting DTM cars, Feltzer isn't one of them. That's why the spoiler's dumb.
