Sultan Or Stratum?

Sultan by an absolute mile.

Neither cars will win any beauty contests , but the Sultan is a great performer, whereas the Stratum is ugly and slow. Not a good combination.

Stratum is always the best way to go.

Stratum all the way. It's a great, very unique, car. I think it is either the only one or one of very few that has the stock version come with a modified exhaust.

In my opinion the Sultan is a much better performer than the Stratum (which looks like a soccer mom car), and is also better in terms of customisation options and general aesthetics.

I only own the Sultan, and not the stratum. but only because of a few races, and garage space being a factor. I like both. But the Stratum is my favorite. If there was a wagon class, this could be a LEGIT discussion.

 

This is a GTA forums discussion, so therefor nothing based or rare will be in the running. I like the Musket FAR better than the mini gun, but if there were a poll with the two competing everyone would pick mini gun.

That is a extremely taistfull sultan I must admit. Love the meaty tires. But I feel like the two tone option and the hood scoop plus front mounted intercooler, has ruined the reputation of the sultan. All the little kids wound never drive a station wagon though. Even though it's a gtr. So that's why the stratum is cooler.

 

If there was a top gear cool wall for gta, the sultan would be uncool, lol

Sultan is not bad and I own both, but as a few have already said the sultan is kinda tainted by all the people who think it can be made to be anything like the rs in gta4. I drive a wagon in real life (i think they are cool) so that helps my decision also.

 

Interesting that even though more votes for sultan most of the comments are from stratum supporters. This tells me that more stratum owners have one for a reason as opposed to "oh yeah, that sultan rs in 4 was awesome" And to go off topic the only reason people think the sultan is a Subaru is cuse of the two door version, the four door has always looked more like an altezza/evo.... to me anyway

Sultan has twice the amount of votes (52 versus 25).

I love the sultan and think it's an amazing car. It represents rally to the core - AWD, got the looks, just wants to go and twist and turn. The stratum is like a sport minivan - the friends of your kids will love it. While it has the Skyline front, the rest of the car looks like a hot girl in a Facebook picture but when you see the original image that hasn't been cropped you see a f*cking tub and her 12 cats. The sultan has sexy looks from every angle - it looks sporty and doesn't look like it came from a 1990's movie driven by a lesbian teacher. Performance - both are very good, AWD, power but I haven't used the stratum enough to decide which is better. Jokes aside, it all comes down to which you think looks better (obviously I went hard for the sultan) and how much money you have (you should get both).

SOME wagons are cool. e.g. Audi wagons, though I'm not really a fan of the brand in general.

I do like Beemer wagons too. (Also like calling them beemers to piss of the "it's bimmer" brigade)

My suv's a Volvo. It's like driving a big couch. In three years I've never even got close to finding out its handling limits, no point really. It just encourages one to poodle about gently.

That said I've never owned and can't ever see me owning an SUV in GTAO.

If you compare the RS even to the two door altezza the windows and body lines are a dead giveaway. Granted I thought all those years the RS was that... But it's heavily inspired by the altezza. The side profile says it all.

I was thinking the RS was subaru in IV too. All day. I know better now especially now that I realize the Is200 came in a 2 door variant overseas.

 

Funny I don't see many sultans decked out like I would see an Is200 in reality. So it's a car of paradox to me. Still I own one... And mine is looking quite a bit like a subaru too... I should ditch the car, and get he stratum. I will too. I don't even drive my Sultan.
