What's considered having "skill" in GTA online?

True, but there's too many clowns running around this forum acting as if they did it without any use of assisted kills. Obviously this excludes things like the RPG, Minigun and sniper rifles which require manual aim, but acting like using a Combat MG against a player with an SMG is skill is just moronic.

Its like saying AA takes more killing skills than FA. Because basically, and this is coming from an AA player, AA is all about who have less lag and who can hit L2 and push the analog stick up for a clean headshot. FA on the other hand.....

Just traversing the terrain while aiming at the target takes skill. Dodging other cars, so you don't explode, being careful not to get stuck on something... while maintaining a lock on your target can be tricky, and a deciding factor. So many shells have missed me because of this.

Not convinced? Give the joystick to your girlfriend, or sister and tell me you're not more skilled with a tank than her.

The tank is a simple Easy Mode.

Let me simplify it then. It doesn't take a genius to play this game. It does however take skill to be better then others. Be it firefights, or tanks, or jets... That's a fact.

How does it take skills in aiming at the ass of another tank is just beyond my f*cking brain.

 

It's really simple. You loose because the person that beat you had better connection and can aim at your ass. Simple as that.

Why are there always wars going on about FA and AA?

 

Jesus, they both take as much skill as each other, just in different areas. In Free Aim, you need a steady hand and good aim to kill (more skill to kill) and in Auto Aim/ Assisted Aim you need much, much more skill in order to not get killed (rolling, taking cover, not running in a zig zag at the enemy Rambo'ing their bullets, etc)

GTAO is more about strategy than about gun skills. And please don't give me the "auto-aim noob" BS, I do play freeaim. In a game like CS:GO shooting skills can be the deciding factor, but here, a good position and common sense are all you need to win

I have a very crappy connection, but I rarely loose. When I do, that person is just better than me at this game. You just get better at things you practice! What is so hard to comprehend there?

Skill is when you don't need tanks, Lazers, Buzzards or Lester.

 

Skill is fighting with dignity and making it fair.

 

Skill is being able to pawn a same-levelled player with a Combat pistol.

1. Because they didn't knew that the back of the tank is weaker than the front.
2. Maybe they can't aim at your ass.

I would love to go toe to toe with combat pistol only's against players. Or even vintage pistols. Any pistols besides AP.

 

I even like doing pump actions. But for me not to be "active" in gta online, (Imma be "that" guy) my musket kills are probably higher than that dude that dropped the K/D comment.

The skill floor and ceiling for GTA is very low. It's hardly even a game about competition anyways. Go play CS or a MOBA if you want to be a "skilled" gamer.

Can't tell if trolling. You've obviously never played CS and have only watched videos of it. Spraying will get you no where in CS, even if you learn the spray patterns. You probably don't even understand how the recoil works.

 

MOBA = Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. Games like League of Legends, DotA, and Smite.
