Problem Streaming Music to PC on new Xbox

I finally upgraded my fat xbox to a slim. On my old console, I could play music by streaming from the PC to my xbox, and when I did everything to set it up how I did the first time, it didn't work. I disabled my firewall and that worked for a little bit. Another problem is when it does play, it plays for a minute and shuts off. This works just fine if I connect via wifi but if I do it with ethernet it never detects my computer. Any help would be appreciated.
