I've never understood why people think their taste is better than somebody else's. To me if I'm not driving it I couldn't care less what another persons PV looks like. If they want to paint a super car chrome with off road rims good for them. I'd never do it but I'd also never tell somebody else what to do with their personal stuff.

 

And just an FYI my cars aren't chrome nor do they have dollar rims. I paint my cars how I would IRL and most are either blue, white, or black.

I guess part of it is like 'vehicle racism' lol If you see a Zentorno in bright purple with $ rims, chances are he's not going to be a mature player.

 

I haven't had much issue with it, but I've found doing up my Sultan RS either as an Evo4-6 replica, or WRX replica will get it blown up immediately - but if you dial it down so it looks less 'rice' people ignore it. I can just image some 15 year old boy who can barely drive going 'OH MY GOD ITZ NOT A V8 OMG'.who hasn't even been in either of them.

 

There will still be some general events where people just blow up your car because 'Grand Theft Auto' etc but the guys who go "I don't like that car" and blow it up, and do this on a regular basis, probably need to calm the farm a bit.

Honestly if they added a Toyota Echo, I would blow up everyone I spotted. Immature or not, the number of times those damn things have held me up or put me in dangerous motorway merge situations - there is much hate there.

I don't think anyone has ever blown up my cars because of the way they look, no. Just the typical idiots who throw a sticky at you and drive off for an easy kill, that's about it. If there's an unoccupied, truly atrocious car that I come across (like the Stinger in the OP), then I just call Pegasus for a Cargobob, hook the car up, drop it in the ocean, and then go about my business.

My vehicles have been blown up so many times, with me inside and with me outside, but I never knew if it was because the person who did it disliked how it looks since no one ever told me.

Preusse - the way I judge it is based on how regularly it gets blown up. Changing the colour scheme on my Sultan reduced it from "regular destruction" to "usually being left alone". So I can't be sure of the individual but it certainly feels that if your car looks a certain way, it attracts stickies.

They are just mad that chrome is one of the most popular choice of pain even tho i dont use it and like to talk sh*t about it when they would never blow up a car in game because they are level 20 and have 0 race wins and are unable to unlock chrome

I'm in the same boat as you, except with Audi Q7s. You wouldn't believe how many times some "holier than thou" snob has cut me off or held up traffic because she was late for her dog's pedicure session. I'd waste tons of money just lighting those up with my Buffalo S's exhaust and Jerry cans.
