GTA race glitch removes all weapons / No more support tickets

Earlier today, me and a few other people in the same race lost all of our weapons, not just for the race, but the durance of an entire playlist, and even after returning to free roam the weapons were still gone. i did what i always do in such situations; panic. then i quickly turned off my Xbox without saving, and upon restart all my weapons (sans the melee weapons you need to pick up, aka crow bar, baseball bat, golf club) were back.

 

While i was restarting my Xbox i already went to Rockstar's support site, where i looked to enter a ticket on the issue. the thing is; i could not find any way to enter a support ticket anymore, and neither could a friend of mine. so, have they really gone that far that, instead of ignoring tickets for month and then answering them with an auto-generated bullsh*t mail that has nothing to do with your problem, they just completely removed the ability to contact them? i wouldn't be surprised to be honest, but it would once again be a new quality of disregard for their customers. it almost seems as if they deliberately try to destroy their standing within the gaming community. unless of course i was just to blind to find the entry field, but that's highly unlikely.

 

TL;dr 1: When you lose your weapons in a GTA race glitch, restart console without saving. 2. can anyone still enter support tickets on the Rockstar support site?

It looks like they're using R* Support Community as an additional tier; whereas an email would be dealt with by Tier 1 Support, then escalated to higher Tiers as required, they're quote-unquote directing people to the Community forum first then, if they believe the matter needs further escalation, they'll ask the person with the issue to open a new request, providing a link to do so.

ah, ok then. so they just made it hard to find. that's a strategy too, i guess.
