If the SP Story DLC comes...

What would you like more, an after-story DLC, with more misadventures of the trio, or my idea, a pre-story DLC that focuses on Michael on Trevor: How they met each other, their friendship and maybe some Heists/other missions with them. Brad could even be a third playable character, but for that, it has to be a DLC like TLAD and TBoGT.

After game DLC would be my preference. Picking up say 6-12 months after the story finishes. I guess this would have to make Ending C canon.

 

Basically I'd want a story that starts out with some event causing the three to come together again, and eventually rob the Casino for whatever reason. One event leads to another, and they manage to piss off Don Percival, the man who explicitly told them "not to f*ck with [him] again". This would then spiral into all sorts of crazy events. In an ideal world? This would also include an unlock of a second island, similar in size to the current map, adding San Fierro and Las Venturas, with the surrounding areas. The story would start out in LS but spill out into these locales - would allow for some cool new heists. Obviously there'd have to be a story reason to start holding up a load of casinos, but it's just a rough idea.

Btw: Franklins DLC also has more hood based stuff, with Gang wars, more missions. Trevor's DLC has also more missions for him, Wade and Ron.

Before the game released I was always imagining doing TBOGT's Drug Wars as Trevor, riding around in the desert in an armored Rebel with a sawed-off shotgun and either: making drop offs, ambushing deals, running up through drug houses...things like that. Imagine pulling up on the No Country for Old Men event, but instead it is a drug wars mission that can spawn all over the map. Imagine driving up to a house in Paleto Bay and having a war reminiscent of the IV mission where you gotta kill Bucky Sligo, and you tear through a drug house and make off with their money and drugs. Or a war like the heist setup for the Paleto Score where you ambush the armor/weapons truck but instead It's a heavily guarded drug van. That's what I want...I could spend countless hours just playing those.

I want them to make one AFTER the story so we can use our weapons, vehicles, and fully stat characters.

 

And some reason for Trevor, Michael, and Franklin to get back into Heists. Maybe just for the heck of it

prequels are such bad DLC =/

 

DLC is supposed to give the end-game new things to do.... if they want a prequel they just make an expansion like Ballad of Gay Tony

 

but before they do a prequel story, the endgame BADLY needs more repeatable content

 

 

if anything, GTA VI should be a prequel about a young T and M haha that would be awesome PS4 snow town heists! drug smuggling across the Canadian border

I want an after story DLC. One with extra garages, extra safehouses, quality cars, quality enterable properties and a few more activities.

Michael, Trevor and Brad. I'd pay good money for that. It's the only thing I'm really interested in seeing, of course they could do something like The Ballad of Gay Tony, that's totally different.

 

But I've been pulling for a DLC delving in to Michael's past ever since I finished the game, I just want to explore North Yankton more, I want to learn more about Brad, and I just want to see Michael plan and execute some of his earlier jobs. Having the ability to play as Brad would be brilliant.

 

Michael is the character I care about the most, so I'm obviously pulling for a DLC based around him. I'd be open for a Franklin DLC though, he just felt like he had been thrown in there to complete the game. Where as Michael and Trevor felt like an essential piece of the puzzle. More Gang orientated stuff with Franklin would be cool, maybe even give us the option to play as Lamar too.

I'm asking for too much, but still, I'd love to see a DLC with protagonists Franklin and Lamar set 1-2 years before GTA V on their gang days, one with Michael and Brad set 1-2 years before prologue, with North Yankton heists, and one with Trevor and either Chef (but more developed), Oscar or a new character (everyone I love leaves me).

Personally I would love to see a prequel about the gun and meth trade in Blaine County. The protagonists would be Trevor (but according to canon his missions would be confined to BC), Ortega and a Lost MC member (not necessarily Johnny, but a member).

 

During this time the Angles of Death are in complete controll of BC, so the three men and their respective organisations team up to bring them down and over the course of the story you would see how Trevor's greed gets the best of him. Like I said Trevor's missions would be confined to Blaine, but considering both Lost and the Aztecas have people in Los Santos you could include them as well. Plus think about it, it could prove to be the dark story that everybody around here wants.

A prequel would be good because:

 

- Franklin would be doing gang stuff instead of ironing his shirts all day.

 

- We would have more Blaine County missions with Trevor's meth business if the game takes place after the North Yankton bank robbery.

 

- There would be no yoga since Michael wouldn't have been introduced to it yet.

 

 

Problems with a prequel:

 

- What would Michael be doing if it takes place after the NY robbery? Playing with his boat?

 

- If it takes place before the NY robbery, there would be no Blaine County missions, North Yankton is kind of small and Franklin would be around 16 years old.

 

- The casino would never open.

 

- We wouldn't have airplane hangars, helicopters, submersible or garages with nice cars

I don't want any more Michael and Trevor, personally. Any amount of extra story and development isn't going to stop them from being really dull, one-note characters.

Neither a prequel or a sequel are possible unless it's just Franklin. It can't take place before because Trevor and Michael didn't live/do anything in Los Santos prior to them meeting up in game and it can't take place after because of the multiple ending thing.

Why is the question phrased in a way that suggest we're potentially not going to get the DLC?

 

Apart from Agent, which we've seen very little about, what's R*'s track record like on producing vapor-ware?

 

They have never said something is coming then not released it, to my knowledge.

Hasn't been confirmed that its going "to carry on the adventures of the trio in southern San Andreas" or something like that on the newswire. So unfortunately no prequel

A prequel would actually be pretty cool, especially with Franklin being more involved with gang wars, drug dealing etc.

I want after story DLC, like something would happen that would cause the trio to reunite again in the crime sense. I also want all the supporting characters from the game to come back, because unless it was a North Yankton prequel, it wouldn't make sense to remove them.

 

As for a Michael/Trevor/Brad trio, I'd personally have to crap on that. My reason is that even though Brad is only in thee game for a few minutes, he seemed like a complete tool. I wouldn't want to play as him.
