Earthquake happens, part of LS sinks to the bottom to the ocean, part becomes an island turned into a penal colony. Missions include Escape from LS.

Then after that we get a panda expansion

Ah that would have been an experience for sure. I was on the 5th floor in our building, but the movement was enough I got slammed in to the door frame a few times. Don't think I've ever run down stairs that fast in my life (afterwards).

 

Part of me was somewhat thinking I probably don't need the game reminding me of this on a regular basis lol

It would be cool if they combined earthquakes with tsunamis. In free roam only, or a special set of event lobbies, for an event weekend or something. Every day in game at 11 am an earthquake hits, just a simple animation that sends NPCs into a panic and sets off car alarms, etc. Then at 2 pm in-game-time a tsunami rolls in and fairly quickly floods the low laying areas of the map, just enough to drown most cars, but you can still get around in lifted trucks. Then around 2 am the waters start to recede and everything is back to normal until 11 am, when it repeats.

No need for earth quakes, the screen shakes too much as is when i'm blowing up supers. There also wouldn't be any structural damage or changing landscapes which would make the whole screen shaking thing more annoying if I wasn't the cause. Kinda useless.
