Honestly I'm surprised I don't see more people using it. I haven't unlocked it myself, but I know when I do I will be using it in free-roam. If that makes me a noob, cheap etc. then whatever. I don't care what people over the internet think of me. I don't know why anybody would. If anybody is a little bitch, it's the people who think they have to conform to playing "honourably" or get upset when some random twat "calls them out" for being cheap.

 

Pretty much this. Completely misplaced sense of fair play. If we're fighting in a sandbox, I'm lifting the nearest rock and caving your head in with it. If the minigun is that rock, so be it.

 

FAIR PLAY IS FOR PUSSIES.

Some serious cry babies here, there's are right situation for every weapon, mini gum is the bravest cos you can't actually use cover jus gotta go head on with it, whatever gun your opponent uses it's up to you what strategy to use against them......

What kind of Logic is this Noob Tube? The minigun is supposed to be fun to use and its your fault if you cant deal with it. Over that, This is a damn game. You say people have no skill when they pull out miniguns yet you dont have any skill to deal with them when they do so. Probably you have not yet unlocked the minigun yourself or maybe you have but you think its noobish to use it. Guess what? Your loss.

 

The minigun is fun to use, I agree. However, you're not getting my point. If everyone is battling with Assault Rifles and Pistols, it is really random and annoying to pull out a minigun. A minigun isn't skillful at all because all you have to do is hold down the trigger and aim in a given direction. The bullets come so fast and drain your health, you have no counter to it. It is the same as shooting someone on the street with an RPG. They have no way to defend themselves. And stop it with the "this is a game" argument. Saying that does not change anything. Using an overpowered weapon in the game for on-foot combat ruins the fun in this game. I still stand by my argument about how minigun users have no skill. And yes, I've been unlocked the minigun ages ago. My loss? What loss? Loss of self-respect? No, I still respect myself to use a real gun to fight people with. I don't resort to cheap tactics to get a cheap win. Minigun users are cheap and have no real skill. How about picking up an assault rifle instead?

 

if you are looking for a "fair" gun fight, go play some TDM with locked weapon.

in freemode? there is no such thing called "fair",

is killing a new-low level player with a reverse zen "fair" ?

is using a tank in freemode "fair" ?

is using any AR to new-low level play (who dont even have the special carbine) fair?

Usually, when I play in free aim and fight randoms, they don't pull miniguns. But when I fight MC's they always pull them lol.

 

I don't use it because I think its an easy way out and just a cheap gun.

I see it as some people are only good with particular weapons, you and giz both had valid points I think

People pulling out the minigun especially against lower levels in freemode is one of the main reasons I started making my own DMs. I laugh when randoms join and ask for it to be switched to Owned weapons. Guess some folks can only handle the select few guns(AP, Auto-Shottie, RPG, Minigun, Sniper) same folk that probs say sawn-off DMs suck just cause there sh*t.

Seriously tired of these people screaming on their mic's when someone pulls out a minigun on them during a street battle. I mean the hell, I am level 120+, I have unlocked it by working hard then i have the freaking right to use it when and wherever i want to. It doesn't mean that its cheating to use it.
