I unlocked the minigun months ago, I might use it once a week...For me its all about 50 cal sniper, RPG, Combat MG and Assault Shotty.

The mini-gun is too cheap of a weapon to use, and breaks the feeling of shoout-outs and missions in the game. You guys are the ones who ruin Deathmatches for others when set to forced + pickups.

There are four or five weapons I switch to without thinking and minigun is not one of them. Don't think I've ever used it outside of a mission or when messing around in an invite only. Just like tanks, it was fun for about the first five minutes.

I don't LIKE to use my minigun per se. It's got limited use in the standard auto-aim lobbies. I do use it to lock on to buzzards and the like who come flying to Mt. Chilliad when I have a bounty on me.

i hate those noob tube rocket spammers and minigunners, to easy, no skill, not fun. I like facing an even opponent or 2-4 weaker ones at the same time where you need some skill to come out ahead, but most people cant shoot for sh*t so they pull out the minigun and rockets nonstop. cant wait till rockstar shuts down the cheaters, gonna be a lot less fudking rockets flying around when you gotta earn the money legit, i guarantee you that, haha!

No different than going after low levels with a rifle and all they have is the pistol.

I have no problems with skilless players who use the most powerfull guns to get a kill but dont cry when I call you out to a 1v1 DM with weapons locked to only rifles. Then proceed to record your ass backing down LOL. I did this to some kid that was talking sh*t and sent the footage to his crew leader. within hours the kid had been kicked from his crew for being a f*ckwit. I LOLd

Yeah, well I worked hard in school to be able to speak and scream, so I'll bitch about the minigun whenever I damn well please, dammit!

Most people I come up against now are of similar level or at least 120+… if they choose to ignore the arsenal they have unlocked than that's their fault.

Running out in the open and rolling around got old very quickly, the way to gain advantage now is through verticality (knowing of buildings that can give you an upper hand or giving you an edge), cover (and shooting the appropriate weapon from cover) and by using the right tool for the right job (an AP pistol at short range is much more dangerous than a rifle at the same range), also knowing when to use your phone contacts etc.

Saying that I very rarely use the minigun against people on foot, I usually reserve it for vehicles.

1. Farm missions to level 120

2. Don't play this game.

Honestly I'm surprised I don't see more people using it. I haven't unlocked it myself, but I know when I do I will be using it in free-roam. If that makes me a noob, cheap etc. then whatever. I don't think it's a bitch tactic if anything it's kind of risky, a heavy sniper beats a mini gun every time. I could count one hand how many times I've been killed by players with a mini gun
