What kind of Logic is this Noob Tube? The minigun is supposed to be fun to use and its your fault if you cant deal with it. Over that, This is a damn game. You say people have no skill when they pull out miniguns yet you dont have any skill to deal with them when they do so. Probably you have not yet unlocked the minigun yourself or maybe you have but you think its noobish to use it. Guess what? Your loss.

 

 

The minigun is fun to use, I agree. However, you're not getting my point. If everyone is battling with Assault Rifles and Pistols, it is really random and annoying to pull out a minigun. A minigun isn't skillful at all because all you have to do is hold down the trigger and aim in a given direction. The bullets come so fast and drain your health, you have no counter to it. It is the same as shooting someone on the street with an RPG. They have no way to defend themselves. And stop it with the "this is a game" argument. Saying that does not change anything. Using an overpowered weapon in the game for on-foot combat ruins the fun in this game. I still stand by my argument about how minigun users have no skill. And yes, I've been unlocked the minigun ages ago. My loss? What loss? Loss of self-respect? No, I still respect myself to use a real gun to fight people with. I don't resort to cheap tactics to get a cheap win. Minigun users are cheap and have no real skill. How about picking up an assault rifle instead?

 

 

So? Its the same with every other gun out there. In your words, All you have to do is hold down the trigger and aim in a given direction. You can easily counter it by not being a hero & by playing smartly by hiding or taking cover behind nearby objects. One can easily defend themselves from miniguns by taking cover and throwing stickie bombs or grenades at the guy. Over that, Its my decision to use any kind of gun i have for on foot combat. As you too have unlocked it you have the right to use it any given time but you wont cause of your believe that its ruins the fun & it shows no skill. But hey, As I said your loss, Its either get killed or be killed doesn't matter who shoots first, It only matters who goes down at the end.

 

True that the minigun is kind of over-powerful gun but it has its disadvantages. The user is slow and cannot hide for cover easily and he cannot run too. Its kind of easy to take such people out given that one has "skills" to do so. Anyway, Its up to you to use the minigun or not, I dont care.

Even if I was 120, I wouldn't use the minigun, just because of the amount awful people that use it. There are people that are good that use it, and that's fine. I just can't stand the bad kids that use it all the time in almost every combat situation.

I only use the Minigun on cars, helicopters, and jets.

 

I don't really use it against players because it leaves you out in the open and autoaim will destroy you.

 

People have the right to use it if they unlocked it, but it gets kind of annoying when they use it too much. Some people just aren't good with any other gun, and some actually just enjoy using it because they've worked for it.

Backing down? Ha. 1v1 DM are stupid and people are smart for not accepting them. Only morons challenge people to a 1v1 DM.

 

As far as the topic goes I got no problem with people,who,use a minigun. I'd much rather see people wielding a minigun then tucking their dick between their legs and using a tank or jet.

 

And before people assume I use the minigun a lot I'm a level 190 or so I think and I got maybe 20 kills with my minigun and most of those are from f*cking around with crew members.

Seriously OP, the minigun takes no skill - it kills in a second and a half even when the opponent is blindfiring and you can only shoot their hands. There is nothing you can do to effectively counter it (not counting tanks etc.) if the assailant knows what they are doing...

tl;dr It's a noob weapon and anyone who uses it is one

There's nothing technically wrong with using a minigun in PVP but they do point to players who lack skill.

 

You can't deny the sheer firepower of the thing but I don't use mine anymore, and when people use them on me I tend to think it's the last resort of the unskilled. Which it is.

I only use the minigun for police and survival helicopters, and I have had the minigun for many months now.

I never see people use it in Free Roam.

Considering the amount of people who play in AA servers, I would put money on only one or two people in this thread playing in FA servers. The minigun doesn't lock on to people, you cannot use cover with and you cannot run with it. That's balanced. Whereas every weapon apart from the GL and RPG can lock onto people.

It is the final weapon unlock so why do people expect it to be sh*t?

You don't play a game to work your way up to an item that isn't as good as what you had previously.

 

Using the minigun isn't cheap. Throwing sticky bombs while reversing, wall breaching, god moding, tank abusing, jet-griefing, LSC and Garage camping, using Passive mode in the middle of a fight and auto-aiming is cheap. So is buying Cash Cards for being a lazy bastard.

 

There isn't anything wrong with the minigun. The items that are the hardest to acquire should be the best.

The minigun is extremely powerful, the Adder is the fastest car and the Buzzard is the most versatile aircraft. One item requires the maximum unlock rank and two require a lot of money. Lets not get into the debate about the Adder, but that's an example.

 

Besides, this argument could be averted if everyone wasn't a douchebag in Free Roam.

And it's funny how the people who use Auto Aim don't complain when they only have to pull left trigger and snap to a target, yet the people who use the minigun have to actually aim.

Surely the minigun user is the more skilled? They cannot auto aim, they move slower, they cannot take cover, and the bullets are so precise that the lack of any noticeable spread makes it harder to hit a target.

And the other guy can hide behind a wall and the game will automatically do the hard part for them.

I remember i was in a lobby and I saw someone 7 blocks away following me, But I went to a clothing shop and he went off the radar and shot me undefended, I was low level but he was already 120, So he kept minigunning me and left to snipe people by Eclipse.

 

I followed him off radar and sneaked behind him and shot him, It was funny seeing him rage and call me a pussy.
