Which payout system would you prefer?

I quite enjoy the new payout system, but it has flaws. I can see where they were going with the timer for the longer missions such as Los Santos Connection, where you get 20k when you finish it, that's fair and works well.

But the problem lies with people waiting around in other missions just to exploit the timer and also people that speed run missions being punished for that which is a tad silly. It works and it doesn't work depending on the mission.

But honestly, I don't really care. I just know I prefer it compared to before, I've been actively seeking out new missions now, and have had the opportunity of playing those missions just by going to 'Quick Job' now which is a step in the right direction.

I love the new system. I remade my second character, and I love the fact that these low-ranking missions give me 5-15k on average. I wish it was like this way back then!

I'm fond of this new payout system, it's not only buffed payouts for missions, but it also encourages more than just Rooftop Rumble invites every ten minutes.

I like it but hate when people are impaitient and would rather do the mission in 2 mins and get 10k rather then chill out go a long way and take 5 -10 mins and get 23-26 k

Because it's more efficient to get 30k in 10 minutes from 3 missions than 35-40k in about an hour or two's time.

None of my friends play GTA v since 1.16, it's really depressing to see because they were awesome. All of them were pro mission players between level 200 and 500 and I miss them. I miss destroying missions and setting record times.

Hopefully rockstar is able to seen how many people are playing and will realise their mistake. I'm not playing much either, at least not wasting to much time on missions. Pretty confidant the payment system will change again next patch so I'll wait for that. Did RR last night and I stole a 18 wheel truck rather than drive my pv. Once we had the documents the guy got out of his super, pulled me out of the truck and delivered the documents in it.. Lol took half the night but we got 16k.

In the bank as of now 1,571,855. I have been playing all week 3-6 hours a day just to build up for the next dlc. That is a week people. Not one 6 hour day like it used to. I have always played solo unless invited by friend. Old system I played about ten different missions just so I didn't RR myself into the loony bin. With the new system making the crappy missions or the real long missions pay out differently I now play a lot more missions.

That being said in the end R* nerfed all payouts big time by changing the type of peanut butter on the sandwich. The old system we had chunky style and it did not spread well so you had lumps and spots of dry bread. Now they switched to creamy style which covers the entire slice of bread, but with less peanuts.

People that like the new system are just excited because they taste peanut butter with every bite. People that like the old system liked the full flavor of chunky style peanut butter. R* would have made it a lot better not by switching types of peanut butter, just putting more effort in spreading it around.

Juan. I'm hearing you. I've made about 600k in total since 1.16 came out.. It was nothing for me to make that in two short nights on 1.15.

There's no way even with my existing 6.4mil I've kept saved that I'll be able to buy everything in future patches.

I'll just buy one good item like I did this time with the besra.

I've been running a simple spreadsheet working out the difference in Payouts I get when I do the mission as intended (no pegasus vehicle) opposed to when I don't (Buzzard etc) using Trash Talk in this example.

So far, I've seen a 2k increase for an extra 5min while doing it on the ground. Considering $2400 is spent alone on stickies doing the first four trucks, its not worth it unless playing with other players.

Waiting around doing nothing is ridiculously stupid. It's inefficient when looking at time spent Vs money earned. You're much better off finishing the mission as per pre 1.16.

Im also convinced there is a more complex calculation going on other than just time spent in the mission. If it's just time spent, then Rockstar really have lost any intelligence :-/

Well yes you might be slightly better off doing the mission faster. But there's more stress and broken menus with no replay (why when it's now on race payment and races have replay) and general crap. Why do something twice and use more ammo when you can just wait when the difference is only slight. In the end you can't earn over a very small amount per hour now matter how good you are.

I like it now 'cause I can play easy, low rank missions like "where credit's due" and "gentry does it" and even "Rockford roll" and walk away with about 7-9k each time and I don't have to do a whole lot and don't have to drive super far and that's not even when I'm bleeding the clock. If i do decide to bleed the clock i can pull in about 12-15k. The only thing I hate is that I'm not getting the harder missions or as much diversity in the missions handed out either freely or by phone call to a contact. The only thing I don't like, is that the missions they added a while ago (with like the high life update?) still pay terribly for the work required and time taken.

Before 1.16 I could complete Method in the madness in just 5 minutes with a good strategy and get $17250 and 5500 RP. I can't do that anymore because R* put their filthy hand on the payouts and made them worse. The only good it did was bring more variety to missions and make low level missions slightly pay out more depending on how much time you spend goofing around on purpose just to get the full payout.

After 1.16 I spent about 8 minutes in Method in the madness just so I can get a good payout and I did this with 2 other randoms on Hard difficulty and what did I get? $14000 and 2000 RP. smh

Your reasoning is totally based on playing the same mission twice?

I see what the problem is, and I do understand it because I am a big advocate for efficient use of time.

At the end of the day though, I guess I am also more of an advocate of playing the actual damn game instead of grinding one mission over and over.

I am finding it harder to be as efficient as before when playing solo, but I am having fun so i could give a rats ass really.

Grinding is for those who want to grind. Who is forcing you to grind?

I really like how the new payout system has encouraged people to stop playing RR all the goddamn time, I'm sick of that mission and it's a welcome relief to discover that mostly when I join a random mission it's not RR now.

That is if the game actually lets me join a mission with others, too often it times out and I end up as the host of a random mission I didn't select because all the other players had already started the mission without me. It's been like that for the last few patches and they keep breaking existing functions with each new patch :(

I would prefer it if the payout reflects the rank, amount of effort, time and money it takes to start and complete the job.

And you should get a frakking bonus if you complete the job solo, not the other way around, ok?

Now that I think about it..If the jobs were actually fun to play I wouldn't give a rats ass what the payout was.
