One:1 A New Vehicle Class (concept)

I see a lot of concept vehicle threads and concept DLC threads. Well, I'll join in on the fun and submit an idea which will probably cause a lot of arguments...

 

Anyways, I'll get on.

This car i the Koenigsegg One:1. The car isn't a super sport. It isn't a hyper. It's a One:1.

A while back Koenigsegg (the same creators of the Agera, also known as the Entity for us) announced their new car. The One:1 was so powerful and so fast that it couldn't fit in hyper or super car classes. Which was the intentions. There were only 2 ever made.

So, are you interested in the One:1? Should it be limited to races? Should you be able to store it?

HOW THE CAR WOULD WORK IN GAME:

-Can be stored and modified completely

-Has liveries instead of color schemes, the 2 liveries would mimic the 2 in real life (you can see them at the top of the thread.

-Would be in its own "Hyper", "Mega", or "One:1" class.

-Would cost $2,500,000 (just like real life)

-Would be new-gen only since it can go from 0-400km/h in 20seconds and this would destroy the game

-Customization items include spoiler or spoiler less, bumpers, fenders, and maybe a few other aesthetics.

-Can only own 1 at the same time.

-Must have won at least 100 races to be able to buy

Yeah but the problem is the Call of Duty Rejects the like to treat every car like a Honda F*cking Civic. That is my big problem with the sports and super cars everyone I've seen in game were riced out to hell. The only good ones I've seen are my friends cars and the ones I've seen on these here forums.

I don't think the game could handle the IRL speed of the car. So it would be like an Entity with the speed of a Zentorno.

This is true due to cars in gta online being speed caped at around the 150-160mph mark to keep the game from breaking

The reason people hate tuned cars in this game is because it's children who ruin them plus people who use terms such as a ricer incorrectly.. IE you won't see appropriately done up car unless you come to car crews, even then..

True speed wise, yes next gen only, this game is running on 9 to 10 year old hardware and this game shows it. Most PS2 games run/ran better then GTA V. Once you hit the in-game speed cap things start to fail to render.

I did it looks exactly the same. And in fact it's based more so off of the ccx. All of the koenigsgeggs or however it's spelled cars look almost exactly the same.

Except for a "Crew Car" and my recreation of the GTA III Cartel Cruiser which needed Chrome secondary, I haven't used Chrome for anything...

I'm more of a "We should have the option and let it look bad than have no options at all".

cuz as far as I know classes only have a real use in competitive racing, anything a car manufacturer comes up with is just whatever the hell they think will help them sell more cars

I do not think a single car deserve's it's own class. I think if a car is believed to be too op to be in the super class then it shouldn't be allowed to use in races. And out of all the cars you could of chosen op to be in it's own class you chose a f*cking tuned agera?

The One:1 IS in its own class. I did not choose it to be that way. That is how it is in real life.

It's called the One:1 because of its engine. It's hard to explain. But some guy who gets to drive them explains it here:

 

Watch the video, he explains why it is in its own class too. The classes have limits (which sets up classes in racing), and the One:1 exceeds the limits of super/hyper cars.

 

And the guy below explains it too:

The One:1 got it's name because it's power to weight ratio is 1:1. (1,300 HorsePower and 1,300 Kilograms) so it's balanced.
