I know alot of people have been complaining about the music in GTA Online or getting tired of it. Wanted to post this from the Xbox website on how to play music while play GTA Online.

Play music while playing a game

You can play music from a portable music player or your hard drive while playing a game. Here’s how:

  1. Plug the sync cable of your portable media player into a USB port on the front of your Xbox 360 console.

Your music will play in place of the game soundtrack if the game supports custom music

  1. Start a game, and then press the Guide button on your controller.
  2. Go to Media.
  3. Choose Select Music.
  4. Select the location of the music you want to hear (hard drive or a connected media player).
  5. Press the Guide button to return to your game.

It's not what people want. People want custom radio like PC.

I couldn't care less about that...

License Issues

LOL! Yeah. No.

They already have licenses for the songs in game. We want to be able to take any song in the game and put it in a single radio. Many games do this. Look at any of the new Need4Speed or Horizon games. They all allow custom radios.

Nothing of the sort because they have done it on Xbox San Andreas, PC releases and every mobile GTA.

None of these games are Rockstar related. You can argue that they use to let you do it, but that was in the age before xbox 360 and ps3 came out. Licenses cost money and the main reason is, because in online others can hear the music you are playing and change the station and songs if they are in the car you are driving. You may have that song downloaded onto your Xbox, but the person in the car or near it does not.

What? We mean custom radios using in-game music. You don't need any new licenses for music that already has a license. I want to be able to choose what songs play, I don't want the boring commercials, I want to choose the order, etc.

I'm not sure that is possible or the current code could can make that happen. But I'm also not sure why this being brought up in this topic anyways, I know people want this so I gave them a solution to the problem.

Oh the joys of having a VGA Cable to a monitor.. one of them being AV Audio to 3.5mm. I can plug it in anytime to my speakers, usually so I can have PC music playing instead. It's damn good.
