Yes, the old "my friend" trick

I don't think "your friend" is telling the full story ;)

this argument is really flawed man.

anyway really sucks for your "friend" but I can't help but laugh at another one of R*'s gigantic f*ck ups

especially since this one only affects cash card buyers, serves you right for wanting to cut corners, damn entitled kids with their "I WANT IT RIGHT NOW" attitude.

just be patient and wait for the next money glitch like the rest of us XD

He shouldn't be afraid if he hasn't done anything wrong.

Rockstar don't randomly ban people for no reason. If you do any form of glitch, bug abuse or exploit then you deserve a ban.

The reason that he was in Cheaters Pool was because he did not play the game correctly and decided to abuse something that should not be there. Not because he bought a Cash Card.

Also, work for in-game items like the rest of us instead of what is essentially Rockstar allowing you to "pay to cheat" in a sense.

Hes probably one of those squeakers that would get chrome adders and zentornos and go around running people over and be all cocky, So yeah glad they got banned really

Lol - it's obvious what's going on here.

If your friend can afford to buy a stupid big shark card then he can obviously afford to buy more. They've banned him and will let him back when he buys another. Then, in a few days they'll ban him again, until he buys another.

That's the way legitimate businesses make money. It's called extortion and it's awesome. Learn the ways and you too can be rich!

Oh well... Knowing how Rockstar and GTA Online work, I never ever have a thought to buy Cash Card.

That's pretty sh*tty if you can get banned for buying a shark card. I haven't bought one and never will

I see the problem here. He was trying to have FUN.

That's not allowed on the newest iteration of the Grand Purchase Auto franchise, sorry kid.

Seriously though, that's sh*t.

I don't know why you guys are having trouble believing OP. Stuff like this has happened before, like when people were cheater pooled for playing modded missions that they didn't know where modded.

How did he manage to break the disc?? Its either in the cosole or in its cover, in a shelf... right?

His console f*cked up his GTA V disc after his xbox fell because it was standing up. Same thing happened to me when I bought Halo 4 but luckily my warranty was still available.

Moral of the story: Keep your xbox consoles flat on the desk instead of standing up. Otherwise it will eat the first disc it plays.

I've had my Xbox in a horizontal position and it has broken 4 disks, while having it vertical has broken none.

@OP Did he use a dodgy credit card and it declined. R* are witty enough to impose the cheater pool for an attempted fraud issue ;P lol

I can see why some people disagree with cash cards, but at the same time, I can see why some may need them.

But whether they are right or wrong to exist, R* should not be putting people in cheaters pool and removing money which they have paid for by using a service R* supplies.

Though way I see it, Cash Cards are for those people who cannot play the game 24/7, and they should not be penalized by R* for using a service R* provides. :)

This happened to of my friends

Friend 1- bought 200 dollars worth of shark cards players reported him for glitching or having "to much money " 2 months ago

Friend 2- 50 dollars reported for glitches last month

Friend 3-100 dollars reported for glitching back in February

Always someone posting on behalf of a friend when it comes to bans. Why doesnt the 'friend' ever post their problems in matters like this.

and R* just bans them without checking their shark card history?

probably automated but still, shouldn't be too hard to write a script or something to check

if I were R* I'd do everything to prevent people being wrongfully banned, even if that would mean letting some of the glitchers slip trough

but R* seems to have this really weird policy where they're really strict with some rules while being extremely lenient on others

I mean this kid buys a cashcard and gets the cheater pool all the while god moders are running rampant.

He should sue R*!

for $50. Totally worth the thousands in lawyer costs

So my friend decided to buy a $50 shark card since he was tired of grinding missions for all the expensive goodies R* added when he re-bought GTA V

(his disc broke in back in december), and he was afraid of glitching getting him banned. So last night before he went to sleep he bought the shark card so he could enjoy playing with the money the following morning. But then when he woke up, and logged onto GTA: Online he was thrown into a cheater's pool, and his money was revoked. He spent the entire day trying to contact support but he didn't get a answer. I'm guessing this has something to do with R* pulling the ban hammer on people who get sh*t tons of money at one time.

Why was he afraid of glitching getting him banned? It's obvious he glitched and was punished for it. Just because he bought a shark card doesn't make him or his past actions any better.

In fairness, buying a shark card is the same as glitching. You *should* be punished for it. Play the game how it was intended to be played :catspider:

Not if it was put there by r* themselves purposely.

I'm guessing it's a glitch with R*'s code with players receiving large amounts of money, the coding might of thought it was hacked.
