Fly straight up while looking behing you then remove wanted level. Easy peasy. Your obviously not ready to handle the p999-lazer. Stick with the duster, thats more your speed

If you were a competent pilot, you could easily take it out. It's been there for a while.

If you fly straight up and click right stick to look down, you can see the Lazer take off, loop over it and shoot it down.

 

Exactly. Though sometimes they will glitch and end up destroying you anyways. They seem to be able to fire at you even if you're behind them. Which I think is BS, but it only happens 20% of the time or something. Still annoying.

I've seen NPC jet troll people after they made it to the city and died. Jet came back and was circling in the air like a shark lol, it got to where the player had to go into passive mode to keep from getting killed.

the other day I was shot down after stealing a jet & the NPC pilot landed near where I spawned (right outside the tunnel) so I killed him & took his jet.

It SHOULD be difficult, or cost you money (blind eye), because I'm tired of getting strafed by jets for no reason when I'm minding my own business.

 

It doesn't bother me as much if I know you had to EARN that jet, or at least pay Lester to bail you out.

My strategy is to pick one of the two jets out in the open in the grassy area, then immediately as I'm airborne whilst still pulling up I flip over and head south, the NPC jet can't do a 180 as quick so you lose him. Usually..

I can't believe some of you guys pull straight into the sky... I just take th jet that's outside, do a 180° turn on the grass, and take off a meter or two above the fence. Guaranteed escape.

Youre probably just one of them jet kids who used to jump in, grab a lazer and fly straight up to get rid of that one lazer following you and then rain bullets and rockets on people for no reason.

Use your brain, get skills, and you will know how to still get away with it.

I usually use blind eye and just land my Luxor right on the Zancudo runway. Makes you feel like a boss.
