Off-Road Wheels are Better

On Broughy1322's new video, he says that off-road tires are better because they go over curbs faster.

 

What do you think?

But if off road tires hitbox is altered for off road and climbing over things it would be worse for standard street driving. Just like in real life, a tire's contact patch is everything.

Well explains why my Turismo has been faster with sports than high end. Haven't tried off roads on it. Will do now since of all the cars it has the most to gain from this. It'll probably m arch thge Zentorno if it becomes 100% stable.

They're only ugly on the wrong vehicle type. I use them on my Rebel and Dubsta 6x6. The only one that it's questionable is my use of them on the Bison. But I live out in Paleto so sometimes having those on the Bison is an issue of practicality. But I don't do things like put them on supers, I ain't giantsgiants.

This is a modern world where we have science. No one has shown the game coding to PROVE that it makes a difference. My Sultan drives the same even with lowrider wheels. People don't give credit to just how strong the placebo effect is in our human minds.

Well hit boxes always change with different size wheel so its obvious however I think I'll stick to class appropriate wheels, may put off road wheels on a fully lowered turismo just to experiment but I will not go down the giantsgiants route!

I didn't really feel a difference when driving with my upgraded Fugitive or Pigalle.

Just did a few test laps. 55.0 in the Turismo, very sloppy lap too. I'll do 54s in the Turismo no problem now. Probably also in the Massacro. Not bad effort at 5am with the flu.

54.422 In the Turismo. Slow in the first sector, for sure I'll get a 53 when I ace a lap. If the fast guys have been using these tyres the entire time it explains why I've never been on record pace because they are way faster at least on the Turismo.

it does explain why my massacro with tuner tires seemed to be handling curbs a lot different than my other cars

always assumed it was the car itself but I geuss now I'll have to do some experimentation with different tires on the other cars.

 

not sure if I'll just slap off road on all of them since they sure are ugly, but I geuss checking the other wheel classes couldn't hurt
