A suggestion for the Bersa

Before I begin I want to make this thread to see if the fellow GTA community likes my suggestion. THEN I will send it to R*. We all know that training jets in real life are also used in combat situations as they are fitted with external weapons. Why not the Besra have external weapons too? R* can add rocket pods (which fires a barrage of 14 mini-rockets that does NOT lock on to ground targets) and the Besra can also have dual chain guns. Furthermore the Besra should have an additional seat where the co-pilot can control a weapon bay which will fire one large missile that creates a large explosion. This would give the Besra a practical use at the cost of agility. The price for the attack variant for the Besra should be 2.5M.

 

Tl;DR

 

Make an attack variant of the Besra which has:

 

Rocket pods that fire a barrage of 14 mini rockets, no lock on

Dual chainguns

An extra seat where the co-pilot can fire a large missile that will create a large explosion

Should cost 2.5M

Besra loses some of its agility.

Or just add a new fighter jet,instead of puting guns on the one we already have. I'd take the Hydra over all of them anyway.

No. Jets in GTA V should have a hard deck below which weapons cannot be fired, however.

I just spent about ten minutes under a bridge ducking out from a jet player who wanted my bounty.

Finally, I was just like, "scaroo this!" and changed sessions. Dude wouldn't let it go.

So, while I dig your ideas, I would just like to see jets and tanks go away, like a canker sore.

How can this happen to someone? I play GTAO since November last year and the only time someone tried to kill me with a jet resulted in him crashing into a building.. There was also that time when 2 guys were bounty hunting and the only thing they did was fly for 2 minutes over me shooting rockets and then disappeared in the city trying to do something productive... Does that happen to you on a daily basis? Because I would love a session where people actually do hunts and play together.

If there were multiple variants you had to buy for 2.5M, where each variant had only one set of weapons (so 7.5M for 3 variants which each have only one weapon in addition to the lower agility/speed), it might be realistic. As it is now, seems more like a weapons set developed just for you (even though I don't know you or anything...).

I agree with most of the others. Instead of making all of these changes to a jet we already have, just add the Hydra jet instead. Maybe a soulution for that would to have the Hydra be availible once every in-game day and have it cost 2500 or 5000 to ordor from Pegasus AND have it spawn near FT. Zancudo when ordered.

No. I find players don't shoot at me much from the ground because they know the plane has no weapons. Add variants with weapons everyone will think you have one of those.

I don't care,tanks never bothered me,and even when they tried REALLY hard I just ran away or changed sessions. And sometimes I attack them first to seee if I can bring them down... About jets,as I already,I don't even know if I ever got killed by a jet not counting deathmatches... And I play a sh*t tone of GTAO... So...bring the Hydra...I'll love it for what it is.

having a newer jet could be even better.

 

im 50/50 with those opposed to heavy military equipment on this game.

the tank used to be the worst thing, that thing got nerfed, heck now even have it own blip which looks really funny if you ask me.

All Tanks, Fighter Jets are hold overs from a bygone era they are a cancer, a malignancy on the GTA world that simply will not go away. Rockstar needs to take their game more seriously, they do really, since Lost and the Damned, GTAV and to a lesser extent Vice City they have evolved in tone with the narrative. They need to transplant that grittiness to the Online mode where they succeed but foolishness like tanks, jets and players asking for more Military grade weaponry need their accounts banned.

We need a 2 or more seater jet because atmxwe have a Luxor and that's it, pulling stunts with friends in a small and nimble jet would be great.
