GTA III Multiplayer Mod (or just GTA III MP Mod)



As you know, multiplayer in GTA III was planned, but this idea was not released. This mod bringing back original multiplayer maps to game

This maps is not complete by Rockstar Games

You can play online via Liberty Unleashed. Tested on GTA.ru Freeroam LU Server. Working good, but game crash in Portland. So be careful

You can move from one to another map via teleporter (in the archive + coordinates)

V1 [11.07.13]

- The first release

V1.1 Test [13.07.13]

- First test version of mod. Added support for LU
- Added (returned) some zones
- Returned main and secondary characters. They were removed as unnecessary

V1.1 [16.07.13]

- Almost completely restored multi1, but without textures and some models
- Rebuilt gta3.img
- New characters: cut Buskers, airport staff, Plaster and Tom Novy

V1.2 [21.07.14]

After a long break resumed work on the mod

- On multi2 restored missing textures
- Added teleporter coordinates for multi1
- Fixed coordinates of some objects on multi4. Now the "gaps" has become a little less
- Fixed coordinates multi2
- Partial restored multi1: roads and several buildings

V1.3 [15.10.14]

- Rewrote main.scm
- Returned deleted pickups
- More restorations on multi1
- Rebuilt gta3.img

V1.4 [04.11.14] (Canceled)

- Fixed prelight on multi1 roads
- Removed holes on multi1 roads
- More restorations on multi1, including the west side

V1.5 [09.11.14]

- Removed train tracks
- Added more parked vehicles
- Restored east side multi1
- Minor changes/corrections in finished model

V2.0 [30.12.14]

- Map multi1 RedLight fully restored
- On some TXD corrected alpha channels and their names
- Improved prelight of some models
- Minor changes/corrections in finished model
- Fixed UV-map bugs on some models
- Removed excess texture

V2.1 [15.03.15]

- Removed holes on multi1
- Removed holes on multi2
- Added some paths on muli2
- Completed roads on multi2
- Optimized collision of some road models on muli1
- Fixed dirt alpha channels on multi2

V2.2 [18.07.15]

- Removed holes on multi2; added subway entrance
- Small changes in car paths
Correction on multi1:
- Removed extra lampposts and traffic lights, also fixed coordinates of one lamppost. Added three missing lampposts
- Fixed dirt models and collisions

V2.3 [26.11.15]

Various fixes on multi2:

- Completed backyard
- Fixed coordinates and models of dirt
- Fixed traffic lights and lampposts coordinates
- Added missing dirt models
- Small changes in the subway entrance
- Fixed alpha channels of some textures
- Reworked several buildings, including mt_buildings12
- Changes in vehicle paths; added new

i've had a private modification someone gave me that ran these maps since like early 2012 now, it's not as if it's anything new or special

didn't that one actually reload the game config, and this one supports MP addons and therefore doesn't? anyway it's fun how only russians seem to care about III :D

Version 1.3 is out!

 

What's new:

 

- Rewrote main.scm. Added weapon pickups, buying in Ammu-Nation, on multi2 parked vehicles
- Returned deleted pickups
- More restorations on multi1
- Rebuilt gta3.img

Guys, today was planned release version 1.4, but I canceled it at the last moment. Too few changes, I see no reason to the release. Next version 1.5 will be released in late November or early December

Hey OP, just tested it out ingame; works fine apart from the teleport co-ordinates don't load, since you used commas instead of full stop which gives a floating point error when you try to load Multiplayer.G3L into Ultimate Trainer. For example; one of the teleport coordinates looked like this:

 

x=983,070617675781
y=-446,93505859375
z=14,9672536849976

 

When it should look like this:

 

x=983.070617675781
y=-446.93505859375
z=14.9672536849976

 

I fixed it and uploaded it, next time make sure you use . instead of , ;)

Strange. I used "," instead of ".", works well. I loaded your version - floating point value error. Someone has a similar problem?

Maybe it's a difference between operating systems or something since I'm from the UK and you're from Russia? Get a few other guys to test it out from and see what happens, simplest fix being the Russian version G3L gets the , and the English version gets . :p

I don't think it is because of difference between operating systems, but if so, I will include fixes in English release

- Improved Deathmatch mode script

 

All this will be released in version 1.5 (except Deathmatch mode - it not completed)
