They didn't fit RDR but that worked out well.

I highly doubt a credible magazine would publish any article pertaining to speculation or rumors about such a anticipated game. But then again, I'd also highly doubt that they'd have info to share about it before R* themselves.

 

The Zombie thing has been out for ages plenty of Youtubers picked up on some stuff in the code about them. You also get that games companies release info to the games media to start hype. You think everyone knew about Apples event by chance? No it gets leaked to start the hype train.

 

This could be as simple as a Halloween DLC costume or even a single player DLC ala Red Dead.

Zombies make sense for Halloween but PLEASE don't make it a one-day thing where everyone has to take a day off to see it. I missed the snow one and all the forum posted for the whole week after was pictures of a snowy Los Santos. So R* might make it one-day or would somehow make it so it would be permanent by:

1 - either a free update with different servers that have zombies (but why would they do that when they could make money on it and also have the "normal" servers dead?)

2 - more plausible; buyable DLC that "opens" up different servers (this has been mentioned on other zombie topics - search them as they have great points)

Unlike other people here, I would love zombies. Why? No more cops. I hate them. I want them to take their f*cking nightstick and f*ck themselves with it with their damn x-ray vision and impossible spawn and "searching" the area you're in by directly going under the bridge you're hiding. That's bullsh*t. Zombies that WANDER properly and have no exact route? Sign me the f*ck up. Plus, I'd love to just run them over and make myself a small team where we go in a lobby and help out other players by fending off zombies. Come on, that sounds more fun than looking at your radar for other players or cops in what we currently have. I've read the first 2 pages and most responses were no but I can guarantee everyone on this forum will be excited by how R* executed it and how it's better than these "DLC"/updates we've been getting so far.

Or we're still going to be ungrateful by how badly it was done, if we gotta pay for it, how the zombies are made, etc., you know, the usual GtaForums attitude.

There was only one game mode which was time-based and only around the area of Coot's Chapel (or something like that). You could add time to the game by opening coffins. So...no - no freeroam. Also, zombies came in waves.

Why wouldnt a zombie dlc work? It could be linked to michaels movie career and have something to do with the vinewood zombie movie series. It could work in a very logical way that would appease the people who want zombies and the people who would want the story to stay consistent.

As I've said in about 1% of the millions of zombie threads here on the forum, one way for zombies to make sense it if there was some big bioweapons accident at Humane Labs which turns everybody into virus-driven zombies like in 28 Days later. I'm already planning to be ungrateful. Probably not only will the zombies be unstoppable high-speed rabid dogs like in 28 Days Later, but we will also get 3 stars each time we shoot one, so both the rabid zombies and the rabid cops will be after us.

Me too, gta has always been a parody of real life (more or less) and zombies just make it look like Saints Row.

Sounds like the same small minded people that said zombies wouldnt fit for RDR.

 

When its halloween themed for media such as games/tv or film anything goes. Aliens, zombies, apes or all the above. If it makes money they will add it. So do yourself a favour and STFU

I won't come to the boards and complain if zombies are in the game. But I would prefer not. It's bad enough Yakuza, Skate 3, RDR, and COD (I don't play cod...) have zombies.

 

GTA V can do the alien thing. It already started.

Everyone saying "lol no this is not saints row no zombies pls" People.. please even if GTA added zombies it would still not be saints row, Saints row barely had zombies to begin with and IF it did get added you're telling me you wouldn't find some bit of enjoyment using GTA V's map for zombie fun? I mean it could just be for a small halloween event like the snow on christmas.. Not long and wouldn't be overdone to the point where it gets boring.
