I guess I'll be stuck at 95%

I killed 100 pigeons so far and did everything else (as shown on Score stasts list), but I only have 92.5% of progress? Pigeons only add 2.5%, so after eliminating them all, it means I'll be stuck at 95%. What must I be missing? I've followed the 100% completion list at GTA4.net and ticked every single box besides 100 ones corresponding to pigeons 101-200.

 

And about activities, to add up the activities %, must I call friends myself and arrange activities with them, or may themselves call me and arrange activities? On Score stats list it says I've done 6 activities with Jacob and Packie each one, and 7 with Bruce. And about Bowling (full game), Darts and Pool, do I need to win against each one at least once or just playing with them at least once is enough to earn the 10% of progress?

With bowling, pool and darts you have to beat someone. It might be an idea to check to make sure you've won each of Brucie's races atleast once too.

Have you also beaten the high score in QUB3D as well. I believe the score you have to beat is 10,950.

As expected, Im stuck at 95%. I killed all 200 friggin pigeons (got the "Endangered Species" achievement) and did possibly everything, but I don't what else to do. My QUB3D high score was 16,350. I got Stats says I've won all 9 races. I performed the following # of activities with friends, including their special abilities (if you're wondering, they add up the # of activities for each friend):

 

Roman: 6

Jacob: 7

Brucie: 8

Dwayne: 4

Packie: 6

 

I've checked all boxes in GTA4.net 100% completion checklist. Stunt jumps, Jacob deliveries, thefts, Most Wanted and Vigilante missions, all done. Met 14 random people and did all missions.Maybe it's a glitch? For a completionist like me, it's kinda frustrating to not reach 100%, haha.

 

BTW, I read this somewhere: "You must actually BEAT your friends at pool, darts, and bowling." Is this true? Or you just need to play at least once, whether you win or lose, to count?

Hey man, I will try and help since I just got 100% like 2-3 weeks ago. Ok, don't go by "activities with (put name here) cuz that won't tell you the truth. What you gotta do is get Packie, Jacob, and Brucie's like/respect past 75% so you can unlock their special abilitiy. If you can call Jacob for guns, then you already unlocked his special, if you can call Packie for a bomb, then you already unlocked his, and if you can call Brucie for a helicopter, then you unlocked his as well. You also must go out and do EACH activity that is SET IN YOUR PHONE under Jacob, Packie, and Brucie. The stats tell you how many times you went out with them, but it doesn't tell you which activities you did...

 

You do NOT have to win at these activities, BUT FOR 100% you must win at: Pool, Darts, and FULL game of Bowling.

It's not about how much activities you do, it's that you have to do EACH activity with a friend, (Bowling, Darts, Eating, Drinking et cetera) and you have to win at least once in: Pool, Darts and a full game of Bowling, like Militia stated.

 

Also, are you sure you completed every random encounter?

Militia, thanks for the help, but I still believe that the # on activies with each friend displayed in stats actually is the # of different activities done with each friend. I say that because I have performed some activities with either Brucie, Packie or LJ more than once, and still the # of activities did not increase, as I had already done that specific activity. It But I'll still do do each activity with each friend again. If I do each friend activitie again and still do not get 100%, I'll simply forget about it and just uninstall the game because it's glitched.

 

About random encounters, I used a guide map available on gamefaqs which tells the location of each random character (14 characters including 10 required for 100% and 4 not, and passing 16 missions required for 100% and 6 not) in each district of LC.

 

Nevermind, I stand corrected, the # of activities stats is useless. I did all activities with Packie in one single playthrough just to be sure, and the completed % raised from 95.00 to 96,67 %. This most likely means that doing all activities with LJ and Bruce will add 1,67 % each, adding up to 100%. I have already unlocked each friend's special activity Just one question: after you won all 9 races, does the "race" on list of Bruce activities also count as an activity? Thanks guys, now it's only a matter of time before I finally beat 100% of the game.

I've heard that some cheats might cause some nasty glitches, but I don't see why would they prevent me from reaching 100%. As I said, my % raised from 95 to 96,67%, so I don't think using these cheats will interfere with that.

I have had a thought. Have you entered Bernie's orange Pegassi Infernus? There is a possibility that the player actually needs to drive it for the percentage score to increase.

Right, I was confused with other GTAs, in which cheats block 100% completion.

I did 200 Pigeons in 3 days. 75 first day, 75 second day, 50 third day. You only get a 1 star wanted level when a cop is nearby and you shoot one. You can easily avoid going into the UN Building and getting a 4 star, for instance, by standing on a car and shooting it outside of the building, thus, avoiding a 4 star wanted level. As for the airport pigeons, I used a Helicopter. In fact, I used a Helitours Maverick while I did all 200 Pigeons. I always go for 0 deaths, 0 busted, 0 cheats, and minimum missions failed. I only fail a mission if it's required to obtain some of the special vehicles within the games...

Nope, you can actually leave Bernie's Infernus there forever and never take it to a parking spot, thus, freeing up a spot for another vehicle. It doesn't require you to get his Infernus. You can leave it there forever and still reach 100%.

Well, I only have some hours available on weekends and only at night to play GTA IV. After killing some pigeons I would take like 10 or 15 minutes to evade police and it just started to become tiring and boring to do that several time in a row. I used cheats sometimes to spawn bike for stunt jumps, because there were times when I would take like half an hour to find a damn bike. I never used cheats before beating the main storyline missions, though.

Did you know that there is an NRG 900 bike dealership? You just go to that location on the map, which is in Alderney, grab a bike and do the Stunt Jumps. Lose the bike? Get another!

Indeed, and there's also one behind the runway in the airport.

I remember back in 2002-3 when I was messing around with cheats for my first, and last time ever in GTA games, that 100% was IMPOSSIBLE for GTA III and VC from using those cheats. It's strange because numerous places all over the web say about III and VC, as well as SA lock you out of 100% if you use cheats. Either way, best to simply just avoid them all together. They aren't needed, really. The games are fun without them, anyways...

 

Yeah, the cop system in IV + Episodes is pretty much useless. 4 stars and below never causes problems. Only when I hit 5 and 6 stars does it get a little tougher. But even at 5 stars it's still not too bad, when it comes to 6 stars, I MUST use the subway tunnels or that location in between a bridge to escape the cops on 6 stars, lol...
