Crews as of right now.

My crew is basically defunct too. We're all around 30 years old and when the game was new & novel, we had at most 10....we all know each other from another forum.

Now there's about 2-3 of us active. I'll probably join another one here soon.

I lead a crew of about 15 people. Have never been keen on a massive clan to lead over. Instead, we maintain a four-way alliance with 3 other crews about the same size. Useful in lobbies with wars going on, because random players assume we aren't connected.

Huge amount of active members, but I recently joined the Damned, a forum based free aim crew of about 100 people.

 

Those big crews like Ganga, ign and whatnot are good in a way because there are obviously hundreds of people to play with, but I've found the experience of a smaller more tight nit crew much more enjoyable. Honestly, I think this game is pretty sh*t house without a good group of folks to play with, but when you have that it eclipses anything in terms of a ten month old game.

Apexstalkers is very active aswell if you like racing

Tried to join once before, about 3 months ago. Saw maybe five new posts on the forum a day. Also kept getting told to be on at certain times to be tried out, was on at those times, and no one ever showed up to meet with me like they said. Then accused me of not being committed.

this is what i started with. Me, one of my friends who is still around, and two others formed different crews four-way alliance, it was this way because we as a group thought that since there was crews there was going to be some kind of turf ownage or something in the game or crew houses with crew income, like a turf heavy game where the city was a war zone. When R* said you don't want to roam the streets of Los Santos solo we were thinking dang son we might have to make alliance with each other. At the time it was Empire Mafia, Alpha Pack, TheFearedGods, and The Buckheads. At this time i had like 45-50 members all geared up, but this faded when gta online actually came out. All of that i just told you was condensed to me and the leader of the alpha pack. So i still lead Empire, but left for a little bit to help my friends crew lvl up a bit. Don't get me wrong it still is a war zone, but not one filled with crews, just stand alone trolls and they do just fine starting beef.

thank you for saying this. You are right, but i wish that there was more for crews, but like i said to the other guy i made a four way alliance.....like some dynasty warriors empires on gta social club and we were hoping for more crew style stuff like i had a lobby with 10 guys 5 crew members were mine

including me and some other crew members from another crew and i wish there was a system out there that auto sorted by tags. i don't want to blame rockstar because that could be me thinking on overhype mode instead of whats logically going to be put in the game idk.

My crew changes between about 3 to 8 people depending on the time/day etc but not all of those are the same as we have about 12-13 active members. We'll welcome most who wish to join, send a message.

My crew (I'm commissioner and my IRL friend is leader) is ranked 224 in the world. We are one of the only player made crews that are in the top 300. The rest are either companies or dev crews that have no limit so thousands of thousands of people join them (which ruins the point of having crews ranked on RP gained when playing together as they have a much greater advantage). We are extremely active xbox and playstation crew. We know most of the members (as in have played with them individually to see if they are worthy) so we don't just invite random people.

Our crew started off with about 20 people but is now down to 3 regular players, about 2 more weekend warriors and about 5 more that we might see once a month or whenever there's a DLC out.

 

Of the 3 active players, we play all aspects of the game. We make/play new race playlist every Monday, a deathmatch playlist every Tuesday and a random jobs playlist every Wednesday (days vary depending on whether people's personal lives conflict on certain nights).

 

We have a website that's rarely used (www.rastarevolt.com) and we communicate in a FB group chat pretty much every day.

 

In recent times, we've had people ask to join our crew but we declined (well we just didn't answer or invite them). So I guess these days we're a bit pickier about our members.

Im part of an all girls crew called Le Femme Fatale. Our crew has been growing a lot recently. Ive only been playing GTA online for about a month and I joined my crew two weeks ago along with another forum member I met here and another member I met here who joined us a week ago. In that time that I joined we've had our crew grow from 240 to 275, and I would say Ive seen anywhere from 20-30 active members on xbox. I usually play with the same group of 10-15 people daily and we have other crew members join us whenever. Our crew has been really active and its awesome just doing missions, races and whatever and having 4-8 people backing you up in freeroam. Everyone is really loyal to each other and helps everyone else out and we have members from Greece, UK, New Zealand, pretty much wherever so thats awesome. Heres our crew page.

The crew I was originally in only had me and the organizer that were ever on and he stopped getting on live for about 4 months so I found a different crew. Now I'm awkwardly towering over the head of our crew by close to a million and almost always end up playing on my own 90% of the time because we're always on at opposite times. fun stuff.

Might have to tell my Wife about your crew, she's in RDR (red dead redemption?) and this crew sucks, full of crew killers and no camaraderie at all. I'm in the Ganja Outlaws and it's made playing this game that much better. Always find crew members in lobbies and all of them have ur back. They just did a crew sweep and spots are open if interested.

The racing crews are all still very active like Apex Stalkers, World Racing Elite, Red Rum Racing, Non Chalant Dominance, etc... There's always atleast a couple of people setting up races at any one time.

What is the status of your crew? Without the need of a crew on this game, my crew literally died away and is reduced to more of a duo instead of a crew. How many have crews still functioning.

 

P.S. This is not a recruiting forum

The one I'm in is active all the time and we have trouble getting everyone together for meets mission etc as we have grown larger!

 

I couldn't play this game now solo, I would get bored easy in free roam taking down others.

My crew is like the crew that everyone likes. we do so much s hit in free mode like car meetups or just jobs or anything in free mode we just don't get bored and are unique from other crews because we are active every day

so I made my own crew Digital Underground in honour of the 90s and 2Pac

Yes our crew is still active though many players have left and kicked but got new blood to make it up. Crew has always been between 25-50 members and i like it that way so people know eachother and the group is tighter. I dont keep members that are active in other crews or havent played in ages also. I have no real life friends in the crew we are a global crew. I love our crew!

The crew I'm in is highly active and we have members from all around the world and every new member is welcomed with open arms though we do sometimes have new members who end up being crew killers but they're always caught out and banned from the crew in the end!

 

The crew has grown so much since I joined when we had 500 members, and we even managed to hit the 1,00 mark! And then we kicked all the people who didn't have us as our active crew so we're always recruiting to keep us an army of 1,000 strong! We have all types of members for all types of activities e.g. Freeroam fun,mission grinding, DM's and racing. I left all my other crews for this and I don't regret joining at all Our leader has even started his own twitch channel and started livestreaming events and stuff xD

OK lets talk crews. I have been primarily a lone wolf as far as crews go. I have been in a few before, but it has always been a bunch of guys ganging up on others and generally disturbing the whole lobby. Playing RR just to afford ammo. So I've been crewless till level 170 or 180.

 

So I saw a thread that looked interesting over here on these forums that ''kinda'' does FR roleplay.It later turned into a crew Vans Society. Store robberies, prison breaks, it generally involves A LOT of cops lol. Its a very chilled out crew, no obligations really. You don't even have to be in the crew for our weekend sessions.... although its encouraged. There are always members online, and with the system we put into place you make new friends pretty much every session. Very cool peeps on my FL because of it too, I frown when I don't see more than 15 friends online. Crew has now over 80 members and growing. Not sure if its time to set it as an invite only crew yet as it seems to attract some attention from outside these forums.... and as mentioned a few times before, a big crew is harder to manage and you don't want a$$holes getting in. It can be very damaging.

 

Anyways I think its not too shabby for a homegrown crew created right here on these forums.

I'm in a crew with over 500 people, but so far I've only met 10 of them, and have a friendship with 2 of them. What we mostly to is hunt down players who are causing problems in the session or bounties, we also used to grind RR but now with the different mission payouts we stopped doing that.
I'm going to leave them soon, they've become boring.

what i like about those crews mentioned is they also have a lot of cross crew stuff going on, nearly everytime i login and join a race from an RRR member there will be one or two members of Apex, WRE, NODO or D1rty12 in there as well, so although each crew might not be huge, the racing community between them and collaboration is massive.
