at our peak our crew had 5 friends in it. It now has me playing by myself each and every day, oh the excitement blows me away lol

Gunslingergaming.com. We are a crew for adults 18 and over. We have a very active crew and we are on PS and Xbox every day playing GTA. We will also be on XBOne playing GTA whenever it comes out.

There's about 550 members now, last I checked, so either not many people were in it before (the crew member cap was at 300 members during December, I believe) or people were and still are spending their time complaining on the forums instead of playing the game.

 

But I can see what you mean. I can join several full sessions and not find anyone, and then join an 8 person session and find two crew members in it. I joined the crew simply because of how they enforce the "no crew-killing" rule for free roam.

There is plenty of other forums that recruit but my friend runs the alpha pack. Even though its a pack it use to have 10 now its just us 2. The question is do you want to join a growing crew, a huge crew, a community like Broseph, or a crew that just likes to stick with small numbers and not grow too much?

Every crew i join, crew mates try and kill me hah...i guess that comes with the territory. I usually just play with one other person in my crew, and there are about 5 active players (including me).

Sign of a sh*tty crew right there, better off without that. Unless it was all friendly banter, but it doesn't sound like it.

The crew I'm in has a little green ribbon that proudly sais ''active''. Its growing day by day which is awesome. Two new members a day, keeps the crew active.

well the crew level i think is a combined effort. Like i was level 93 at one point but my crew level was like 123ish at the time.

My crew began when Max Payne came out. 830 members currently that I've recruited single-handedly. There's always a handful of other members online. Ranked 209 worldwide in MP. There's been so much RP glitching in GTAO, I don't consider those rankings to matter. I'd say we're doing good.

It's a very active and tigh nit crew. I can only talk for the ps3 division, but we have spontaneous crew sessions almost everyday, with close to full sessions (They really need to expand that session limit) very often. There are days that are more dead than others, but i have yet to log in to our ps3 chat and not find anyone to play with!

 

We are diverse bunch though, some are more competitive than others. The thing i personally like is that we don't really have focus on any particular skillset from any of our crew members, but rather how their personallity is. We accept all kinds of people as long as they act mature and respectful towards each other! We have people who just switched from AA to FA, and we still have AA people of course. We have people who are very competitive and enjoy playing in various crew vs crew events, and we have people who just like to mess about with their crew mates and have fun and not play the game competitively, it's all good, and i love it!

 

We're like a little family, which i guess all good crews are. And we somehow keep the game fresh by doing all kinds of different events and trying out weird ideas together. Just today we are going to have a hillbilly free roam event, which includes dress code and alternative mini-games(Which are different and creative - thinking out of the box - ways to play GTAO) in the spirit of our picked theme, which this time is the hillbilly theme (We also had a pirate free roam event not long ago which was really fun) and tomorrow we are going to have another event in the hillbilly spirit, which is a event consisting of two playlist with crew created jobs set entirely in Paleto Bay (This is both dm's, captures, air/land/sea races and even a parkour on foot race)

 

I also like that i can almost always find someone to do races, dm's, captures or missions with. Atm people are mostly into missions! But we also do some great playlists from time to time with crew created jobs and thank god we have some very talented creators in the crew to help keep races, dm's or captures feel fresh and new all the time!

 

But that's only the ps3 crew. I love how our forum kinda makes us socialise a lot with the xbox crew, so they also feel like family despite not being on the same console. And it's a very active forum as well. I remember we wrote a lot in the gang thread we had here once, but that almost seems redundant with such a great forum. There are new updates, silly and fun threads, event threads and sometimes info you wont even find on GTAF posted there everyday, and so much more freedom as well!

 

Now this almost sound like a advertisement for our crew, which wasn't my intention lol. I just really like the crew i ended up joining, i feel like a part of a very close, yet open minded family who accepts people as they are, as long as they act respectful towards each other and i wanted to share the reasons why i love being part of this crew! This is the current status of the crew though. For a game that increasingly becomes more stale everyday, QOTD has managed (for me) to make it feel fresh and fun. The best part is, we are going to play other games together as well, so our crew won't be limited to GTA in the near future. Many have already begun to play other games together (Im not one of them though)

 

tl;dr: Well never mind, i said what i wanted to say. I love my crew for all the above reasons and more. And our current status is like i stated above! Our hillbilly event even has more members signed up than there is room for in a single session. So we might be a small crew of only 80 people, but the activity and the Desire to socialize by people makes it seem larger than the crews of a 1000 people i was a part of in the past

I'm in a crew where 5/6 of us play together regularly, other people join the party and hang out, even from other crews. We don't take vulgar remarks against our female members very lightly and will grief the sh*t out of people who are just plain rude. There are 2/3 of us who rule with an iron fist in such situations but when it's chilled we are all equal

My crew is around about as random Sentinel Guy.

 

Not even fun without them. My friend/roomate plays on my account much more than I do, so he ruins my KD and plays with randoms. They usually group well but we get annoyed with people we pick up so we dip.

 

Everybody got tired of waiting on Heists to drop.

I stuck with it.... Now I'm fighting off squeakers and horrid wannabe's by myself.

what was your original K/D........not that it matters because you can get screwed sometimes. Look at my K/D. It ain't super, but its better than an average GTA player. Most people i see have .54 or .80. So don't be too hard on yourself about it because GTA alone isn't a game that just focuses on shooting people. Those games are like TROTF or Gears of War. Hope you find friends that stay and you can rebuild.

I am in GTAForums crew on the PS3. I have played with 007 and LePhat and always get invites from others in the crew who I don't recognise the names of, but still join them anyway most of the time.

I'm in five crews. Two I am very active in, one I stay because... idk.. lol Pretty much everyone moved back to BO2 there, so.. The other two are crews I just made for custom colors and to host my emblems.

Most crews have awkward time zones and my friends are casual gamers so I hop between crews for colours or use my own to make colours, however I'm planning on staying in the k2 street crew for the weekend meets once my garage is finalised as I have a few temp cars.

I can confirm that in December the crew wasn't very active. But we've made incredible gains since then. Nowadays it's very rare not to see people online.

Currently in two crews. My crew is doing semi okay, people have left but about 5 people are still in the crew.

 

As for the main crew that I've joined ^{GTAF Crew} I don't think it will be going anywhere any time soon.
