Don't sweat it - R* only took hacked money last time - the only people who went flat broke were those who spent more than they had - the wipe took away the hacked money but left in the costs of anything you bought (which is why everyone got to keep everything they bought).

That's bullsh*t. I've seen a bunch of players who were legit players, some of them even purchased cash cards, and still had their money wiped. There were plenty of complaint threads in the support forums about this after the wipe. Some of them even got refunded.

 

Nin, I've never quite gotten over you changing your avatar. As for the cash, I speak only from my own experience- but that was over two accounts - one that behaved itself and one that did not. First account stayed rich, including a couple million in shady LSC money, but lost all hacked cash, second account that went purchase crazy went to zero (ironically, I started the second one to avoid playing on the first one with the hacked cash - then the second one got gifted even more, so I said 'screw it' and bought all the things).

 

So, in light of my limited sample, I'll rephrase - In my case, R* only took gifted, hacked money and left everything else alone, including LSC-glitch money (the last time I did that was October, so I have no idea what the deal is now - plus I'm pretty sure the LSC glitches are all dead as of last patch).
