Hey guys, here's REALITY checking in:

 

Things may have changed in licensing since GTA V's release almost a year ago (technically more due to delays)...therefore, some songs that they had the rights to may no longer be available, hence the "update" which isn't really an update as much as it is replacement songs which would then need the DJ to re-record some audio to introduce those songs...that's most likely the deal

 

That is possible, it happened with the first 'proper' fully licensed commercially available DJ mixed compilation CD 'The Mix Collection' by Sasha & John Digweed, it came out in 1994.

 

10 years later they had to removed a couple of tracks from the anniversary re-issue of it for licencing reasons!

It's good to hear about radio updating, beacuse current GTA V's soundtrack is boring.

Remove radio los santos add lshc (los santos hardcore) for metal fans.

Remove west coast classics and bring back JNR then radio wheel will be good

I grew up with the songs on West Coast Classics, and I still love listening to most of them. But I would like to see some real metal, not nu-metal, but classic metal. It is the one thing really missing from the radio, but I don't want to sacrifice anything to get it.

I listen to all the stations, depending on what mood I'm in. They all could use new songs.

 

I would like just a regular rock station though. Nothing crazy, just some regular mainstream stuff. Stone Sour, Seether, Linkin Park, etc.

It is a shame we can't stream our own music from our collections (not music we have made ourselves) on PS3 like they can on X-Box.

 

I have a way around this though, I have a pair of JVC 'in-ear' earphones that aren't like normal earphones as they actually go into my ears.

 

I can put my headphones over them comfortably and listen to any music I like and hear the sound effects at the same time

If the music that got cut gets added I'll be STOKED. If some other stuff that isn't even on that list get's added I'll be PUMPED... If some of the stuff most of you requested gets added I'll refrain from playing the game as I have been.

 

I can just imagine some of you ladies and gents walking around in jerzees sweatpants totally having a good time listening to that crap you listen to, and it's not an image I wanna keep running through my head.
