I get what your saying, but im not sure if that could fit into a modern day south ls style radio. They need to add some Lil B, fredo santana, asap ferg, and some other "trapaholics" type sh*t to bang. But +1 respect for acknowledging atmosphere...

Fingers crossed (unlikely...) for new stations - high time we had a Los Santos equivalent to GTA IV's JNR 108.5:

Maybe get someone like Harry Connick, Branford Marsalis, or someone else with a good public manner for radio - that, and get a selection of more obscure, later-era stuff on the dial, like this (my current favourite 'jam', if you will):

Hey guys, here's REALITY checking in:

 

Things may have changed in licensing since GTA V's release almost a year ago (technically more due to delays)...therefore, some songs that they had the rights to may no longer be available, hence the "update" which isn't really an update as much as it is replacement songs which would then need the DJ to re-record some audio to introduce those songs...that's most likely the deal
