From the Pop songs we've got now, I probably wouldn't be all that excited anyway, and I love Pop. I want to be able to play my own playlist from the XMB, or have them integrated into the game. They can take their Pop songs and shove them up their ass! The day I can play 'A Real Hero' or 'Under Your Spell' through GTA V's radio is a day I will be very happy. I'm glad they incorporated it (probably would be a crime if they didn't), 'reminds me of all those hours of playing GTA: San Andreas and cruising The Grove. The classic Rock station brings me the same satisfaction, but that's getting old for me. Oddly, when I remember playing older GTAs I never complained about the music selection. It may've been because there wasn't anything they could do, (when you ship a PS2 game, that's it) - It just boggles my mind that there isn't a mixtape option like in Saint's Row. Let alone not being able to play your own music. Rockstar expects us to put hous and hours into their game (which, I'll happily do), but I don't feel like they're supporting our investment with the way the music is structured. I mean, this is 2014, not 2008. We should be able to listen to our own music. I'm no coder or mechnical gearhead, but it's going on a year now, they're still rolling out DLC, music seems like it should be among their top priorities, and Rockstar is passionate about their games having a slam-down soundtrack. 'Hitting us up with mixtape options (I'd gladly accept the ability to use our own custom tracks from the XMB) would be a great gesture from the Rockstar Devs. I probably wouldn't find myself getting bored so easily either. That would be a great way to discover music I'd say, almost like you'd be introduced to something new to listen to just by hopping in somebody's car. Then buy a new microphone, then grind (enter-how-many-hours-you-spent on PS3, if you're bored with the soundtrack, chances are, you spent a lot of time in the game), then realize that isn't a great solution.
