Boot into safe mode, and "Restore File System" (kinda like a defragmentation on a PC) 3. Boot into safe mode again and then "Rebuild Database". 4. ~Tiger~ Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 Oh dear. This means there may be a fault with either the disc or the console. Obvious question, have you checked the disc for dust or fingermarks? If the disc is ok you need to try it in another console, either a friends or a games store will check it for you. If the disk loads without a problem in another console, the disc is fine and your console may need servicing (even if it plays other games without issue.) It is in the nature of PS3 consoles that sometimes they play some games fine and others not . I had this same problem. But please check your disk before you write off your console. Thanks.
