I just hope the Hydra doesn't have explosive rounds, Atleast while hovering, It'll be a grief machine if people could hover and shoot rockets but then again I'll prefer the launcher.

my ideal hydra would be:

-1 seater (mainly for the looks but i just dont like 2 seater jets even when they are sleek)

-available on the internet with a level lock of 75 and a price of whatever

handling:

-cargobob handling in a hover, with slightly more stiff thumbstick control

-vestra handling in conventional flight

-switching between modes in similar fashion to convertible roofs, except with no interruption if the player decides to accellerate

weapons:

-1 minigun mounted on the bottom in a pod, damage equivalent of all the annihilator guns being trained on 1 spot, slightly longer range, better accuracy than the heli miniguns (no explosive rounds ofcourse)

-dual firing rockets with no homing ability, but faster projectile speed and reload twice as fast as normal rocket cooldown

-single homing missiles, loading half as fast as ordinary missiles on both the buzzard, and the lazer

trying to stay on topic: if the hydra was like this, it would still satisfy everyone with the ability to land and take off vertically while having jet speed and having proper armament, without becoming a massive burden in online sessions, unless someone is really good with one, but then again, ive spawncamped several people with a buzzard

 

how about instead of annihilator machine guns it could have machine guns from the laser?

i could live with that but half the forum cant so im leaning towards a more 'balanced' approach

 

No way in hell I'm giving everyone who has the intelligence to watch dumbasslive or one of his youtuber buddies and money glitches explosive rounds. No way.i wouldnt think it would be that much of a burden if i can already survive against 3 jet-idiots (if i am not out at the rural areas) and then spawnkill them a few times once i get them out of the sky

but if you do not have a minigun or a heavy sniper, then it would suck to try and down them/ the hydras

dammit R* , what's the problem for '' cutting '' the hydra ? the jet itself is VTOL , which vuneable aganist fire but easier to land

even hunter is succeeded by buzzard...... the small attack copter may has 4 occupant , minigun and missiles but the turbulence makes diffcult to use minigun

 

all i wanted to wish is hydra , hunter , rhino , infernus , sultan , sea sparrow & skimmer is assemble together in V . only TBOGT aircrafts were completed ( buzzard and skylift aready available , whereas swift is delayed )

Of course its going to be way over powered. Its going to have a huge price tag and the hype is unreal. Imagine a besra with guns/rockets that can hover. iIt will rape. Which is why i dont want it implemented in the game. The only people that will get it are modders and people that buy shark cards. I am neither of those. Little squeakers will be all over this.

Rockstar will always try to find a way to add in more and more griefing machines.

What have they added since the beginning that would be considered a griefing machine? The tank, lazer, and buzzard have always been here.

 

I mean adding greifing machines would be a good idea for Rockstar as they will make them extremely expensive so people will buy shark cards to buy them. Hydra is one example but there is not enough info on the Hydra so I can't consider it a grieifing aircraft as yet.

Well, the F-35B has a notably larger (wider) canopy due to the fan located behind it. You'll notice that the B model is "fatter" than the A or C one. Also (from the looks of it) the rear nozzle is not moveable, that's what the AV-8B like thrusters are for...

I want a Hydra for every godlamb reason, just yesterday a crew of 4 were safeguarding Fort Zancudo with Jets. There was no way to take them out so they owned the lobby for a good chunk of time, I left when I realized the futility of the sichyashun. So yes, a Hydra that spawns in a Hangar and not the military base would be ideal.

If you don't want a Hydra, then you must not be a very fun person to be around.

 

 

 

There is something seriously wrong with anybody who doesn't want to fly a VTOL around a city as detailed as Los Santos. Only in this game do you have the opportunity to fly an F-35B/Harrier crossbreed (totally guessing) around a city that is made out of more than just paper mache (as cities in other jet games are), without the potential consequence of fiery death you would face in real life.

Yes, I REALLY want the Hydra. Hopefully the guns on it are sufficient because I dislike the drive to Zancudo.

It will open up a new area of fun things to do. I wonder if you will be able to take off and hover with players on the wings.

I rarely used the Hydra in SA, and I rarely use the Lazer in V...

It's pretty already common when somebody has the hydra in freeroam. Think how common it would be if it was purchasable!

Yes and no because yes for nostalgia and having something to counter those lazer griefers but then the hydra would just become the new griefing tool. If they bring back the Hydra then they need to also bring bring the Heat seeking rocket launcher to get people on foot a chance to defend themselves.
