Tried it a few times now and everytime the cops wont leave. You can't call lster to lose your wanted level and it Doesn't matter where you hide you might as well quit the mssion because you'll be sitting there for eternity waiting to lose your wanted level.

It's a new bug. The stars are glued on to you and you can only call Lester to get them off you. They never flash despite being nowhere near the cops. Extraditon is also affected. But it doesn't affect shark card sales so Rockstar wouldn't see a reason to fix it.

 

I think if others are spectating you then the bug occurs.

I'll have to try both of these missions. I hadn't had too much issue losing stars before, but haven't played them in about a week.

 

 

 

All things related to GTA Online affect Shark Card sales, according to this forum, I don't know how this wouldn't also affect Shark Card sales.

I ran into the same bug last night. Teammate died and i hid from the cops for about 5 minutes, then the teammate left the mission and everything went back to normal.

I thought it had something to do with them tweaking how team mate wanted levels work when you're together.

It was like you had to hide separately or else you couldn't lose the wanted level or something.

 

Maybe that was wrong though, I don't know.

I think you're onto something because on 1 of the tries I ended up dying so was spectating,

 

2 people were left. both of them had their wanted levels for a while. Then 1 of them lost his. But the moment he picked up the other guy who still had his wanted level it passed onto the other guy. Then it got to the point I just had to back out because the wanted level never stopped.

Weird. Never ran into that bug. The way I do the mission is to attack from the front and walk down the alley till I get the cash. Turn around and steal the cop car parked in the left side alley. Drive down railroad tracks to the right into tunnel, and wait it out. Done this solo and with others.

Ran into this yesterday after my one teammate died during the mission. I grabbed the cash and stole the baller in the alley. Left and couldn't lose the cops. Ditched the baller and stole a dubsta off the street and drove away and lost the cops. May have been something to do with the baller idk.

It seems like you're screwed once holding the mission objective. Otherwise you can lose the stars, in my limited experience with relevant missions after 1.16.

 

Just avoid missions where you get a wanted level until next patch. Nothing else we can do, and no point complaining.
