Weird Bounty

I have just gotten a bounty worth $9500. This was from stealing a car off the streets. I thought the bounties only went up to $9000. Is this a glitch or something. Or are there new bounties?

Still waiting on limitless bounties.. would love to see everyone scramble for a $20k target. That's a truly marked man Not to mention it would make bounties way more interesting/fun and give super rich players more things to spend money on. Imagine getting a $20k bounty placed on you... There would be much more incentive to survive the bounty ("If I survive for 24 intense minutes, I'll get $20k") Right now it's more like "Oh a $4k bounty was just placed on me... meh" The only reason I even attempt to survive bounties is the competition/trolling of those hunting you. I really don't care to fight the lobby for 24 minutes for a measly $4k in my pocket. $20k though and it's me-against-the-world-you-can't-take-me-alive type sh*t.

For sure. Whenever I get a bounty on me I just make my way to the lowest ranking dude on the map and make jazzhands at him until he shoots. I don't want a bullseye on my back for a few measely bucks. I want higher bounties!

At that is happening is that Lester is only taking a 500$ cut from the bounty, normally he takes 1000$ so you are getting an extra 500$. It's all part of the 50% offer on phone services.

lol im with you..but youre forgetting the huge probability 90% of players thatll get such a huge bounty placed on themselves are just gonna stay in their homes or start an invite-only session.

 

and also theres no way in telling how high the bounty on some1 is if youve missed the one and only notification about it so people who join the session after the fact have no possible way in knowing about the jackpot

You have to survive 24 in-game hours. Which is 48 minutes.

They should make it so that if you leave the game or go into your apartment the bounty returns to your owner because nowadays bounties are pointless since people either leave or hide. It's soo much fun chasing after a bounty so they should stop people from leaving or give them a reason not to leave. Maybe at least a 50% reduction if you leave or go into apartment or something...
