xXepicjasaXx
Its ok without a wheel, but a wheel makes it a totally different experience. The T80 & T100 wheels arent that expensive. My T100 is worth every penny!! i would have to think about it, thanks!
xXepicjasaXx
Guys i bought the game and the first thing i noticed was the driving is very very hard and not easy to control, so what setting would you reccomend, i am on PS4, use the controller and i play games like GTAV and the crew so it is hard to drive in project cars, what settings should i use to make it as easy as possible and like gta or the crew, thanks

You need to remember, this isnt an arcade style racing game. Its meant to be a simulator & that means it isnt exactly easy. At first i used the DS4 and it took me a good 5 to 10 hours to get comfortable with it. I used the default controller settings as well. Honestly though, this game gets the opportunity to shine to its full potential when coupled with a wheel. I cant stress enough how much more enjoyable & immersive it becomes. No need to break the bank either as the T80 or T100 work just fine. Edited June 21, 2015 by S-M-O-K-E xXepicjasaXx and Cudwieser

No need to break the bank either as the T80 or T100 work just fine. S-M-O-K-E pretty much said it. I dropped the control sensitivity for the steering, Throttle and Brake. Dropped the dead zone on the Throttle and Brake as well. The exact numbers will vary from player to player. Go to a solo race with no opponents and fiddle with the sensitivity to see which gives a fare balance between control and maneuverability. When setting the sensitivity drop it by 5 increments then fine tune by moving one at a time. Once the car seems to respond correctly, then put in some track time and remember easy on, easy off. There is plenty of travel in the control pad, that if you have dropped the dead zone you will get immediate response and with practice you should get a feel for how reactive each car is and how much throttle you actually need to avoid wheel spin and going off. At the end of the day thins game is all about input. Measure it out, pay attention and be patient (almost like driving in real life): Don't panic Don't accelerate too hard Don't brake unless you have to Brake easy, well before a turn and in a straight line Feinting needs less braking than regular braking so ease of the brakes and let the turn of the car help slow you down Keep steady throttle around a turn. Letting off suddenly or accelerating suddenly will result in loss of control S-M-O-K-E and xXepicjasaXx
xXepicjasaXx
Guys! i found out how to change the colour/livery of your car, when you choose your car, hover over it and press triange or Y on xbox to go to your garage, find the car you picked and then press the left or right to change the colour

Vercetti27
Only finally got around to getting this last thursday. Career mode is a bit of a drag, driving some sh*tty old historical cars that handle like sh*t, but overall the physics are fun and challenging, the variety of tracks is superb, and each one looks stunning. Especially like the Lotus '86 F1 car, worth putting in the time to master the frighteningly sensitive physics. You don't get that sensation of raw power in any formula one game. DEALUX
I was thinking of getting this game seeing as I enjoyed the previous racing sims made by this dev (i.e. the NFS Shift games) but judging from various YouTube videos the performance is pretty sh*te. Who is playing on PC with maxed out graphics and maintaining a stable 60 FPS? YouTube had me believe that this is impossible. Audi
I really enjoy this game. don't play it much anymore except to decompress when other games (like GTA or Overwatch) piss me off. Always found racing simulators relaxing. And i can take pictures in it, although they're not Forza quality.
luisniko
Can this game replace GT6 for me? This game looks like they have very wide choice of car too. I'm disappointed with The Crew. And I'm very much disappointed with Driveclub for the race tracks and the bumper-car AI behavior. Sadly, I bought Driveclub digitally. That's 20 bucks went down the train for PS4 Rain Simulator. I often play online with a friend, but it gets boring so fast since there's not even AI to fill in.
?!=+_-
It's not overall a better game than GT's but the physics are better, I only use it for a drive now and again. Waiting for Assetto corsa on ps4, physics are the best on that.
AusSantos
If you're looking for a game to replace GT6 I'd wait for Assetto Corsa, Project cars is good but AC is definitely superior.

DEALUX
If you're looking for a game to replace GT6 I'd wait for Assetto Corsa, Project cars is good but AC is definitely superior.Assetto Corsa is atrocious with a gamepad, so I really do not recommend it to anyone unless they have a wheel for it. I know that Project CARS is coming out soon but I think GT Sport will be better than it in most ways. Project CARS is kinda arcadey and weird for a sim, especially on a gamepad. luisniko
The dev of PC2 seems to really take it seriously this time. At least from their journals on their YT channel. For example, they were testing the car physics with professional drivers to make it as authentic as possible. We wouldn't know what's actually going on in their dev office of course. But everytime both devs are promoting their product, PC2 is all about the car physics and the feel of the tracks, while GTSport is all about... 4K resolution, extremely detailed car models that will be ready to use PS5 power in the future. Oh well. It's gonna be interesting to see how the fans react to both games in the future.
S-M-O-K-E
Assetto Corsa is atrocious with a gamepad, so I really do not recommend it to anyone unless they have a wheel for it. I know that Project CARS is coming out soon but I think GT Sport will be better than it in most ways. Project CARS is kinda arcadey and weird for a sim, especially on a gamepad. SMS have fully redone the gamepad stuff for pCARS2 so I would expect a good improvement in that department. Although, since it is a sim at its core, it really should be played with a wheel. GT Sport will be a pretty game, no doubt about that. Its no racing sim though. Closer to an arcade game like Forza, than a sim like iRacing or Assetto. If you have closely followed the news and development of both pCARS2 and GT Sport you wouldnt even think to call pCARS2 kind of arcadey and that GT Sport will be better as a sim. As with all GT games, it will be more about car ownership and customization, than being an actual sim. Why you ask? They need to appeal to the masses. Ive watched and read basically everything regarding GT Sport and I am not at all impressed or interested.
DEALUX
I was speaking mostly about Project CARS (1). It doesn't feel like a sim at all, on a gamepad at least. It suffers from similar issues regarding control responsiveness like the Shift games. It's true that Forza is not in the same category as AC or iRacing but they are sims even if they only manage to capture 20% or 40% of what a real car feels like (people like to call those games "simcade", which is fine).
