They often dont know the latest things and how the news sound, this wasnt set it stone but it was a possibility. I wouldnt wonder if its true. I repeat, don't be afraid of a delay of the PC version. In the leaked build log PC is clearly seen in development in tandem with the consoles in 2012. Given this, the game is probably already finished or almost finished for PC. Especially when Rockstar is still confirming that it WILL come this Fall on support threads and the livestream. I have actually never seen them answering this question so much, that has to be a sign of... there's no delay or cancellation. I wish that they could ban all news articles that say "Gta 5 Delay Incoming" or something along those lines. The game has been in development since 2012 and there has already been internal delays. Not like Rockstar has a history of keeping things close to their chest and only announcing release dates when they're good and ready, we haven't heard anything for 2 months because, well, that's what they always do. I mean sure, they'd basically be burning free money if they refused to release a PC version given the demand, but making a PC version just because the demand is high is hardly being "forced". They see a potential customer base and they go for it. There is absolutely no need to victimize them by saying; "Oh poor Rockstar, they were forced to allow more people to experience this great game and make even MORE money!" f*cking please. I understand that the employees at Rockstar are largely treated like dirt, but to say that they as a company are agitated by the prospect of delivering their game to even more people, is just dumb victimizing bollocks. It would decrease my hype only more for this "upgrade" and I'm not even that hyped at the moment. I mean the PC version will be sublime, especially afters mods, but the next-generation version will most likely be a prettied up version of last-generations. I mean I'm pretty sure that all we're gonna get is this: - prettier graphics - smoother running everything (framerate, etc.) - denser traffic and peds - better detail and lighting But no new safehouses, garages, interiors, innovations- none of that. It might not get delayed and that would great. But if there just so happened to be a delay, it wouldn't take me by surprise. This is the power of the internet's global consciousness. It's so easy for a few people to spread misinformation globally in a few hours. You just have to plant the seeds in the right places. If anyone is genuinely concerned by cancellation, they're a fool. Especially considering it's been confirmed just minutes ago in the Twitch stream that it's coming out in Fall. Bearing in mind that tomorrow is the first day of Fall, there's a three month window between tomorrow and the end of November for that to happen, there's plenty of time for them to get the ball rolling and get the game out there. Admittedly, this doesn't match the 9 month lead in we had on the confirmation of V's release date (End of Jan 2013 sometime I think). But that doesn't mean they can't magically make the game appear in shops in the next 90 days. Just in time for Christmas! Again! Signatures are dumb anyway.
