I don't know if this is confirmed but I think if you get a special crate drop or do the crate drop glitch, like you did to get the beer hats from switching characters, if you get different hats! Anyone know anything?

There's always special crates. They just don't have any special items anymore.

 

 

There's always Crates, there's not always Special Crates. They're different - Special have more RP/money and maybe spcial items, and are red (or yellow? I forget) not green on the map. Only the Special Crates get the 10..5..2 hour countdown as well.

no it was a special, brown and gold(I think) announcement. there's always been "special" crate drops. there's even an award for it.

Yes, the beer hat event is over. Yes, special create drops have always been in the game. No, I don't believe we'll be able to get the hat from the artwork this way.

I caught a special crate drop day before yesterday. It contained 5.000RP, 5.000$, a minigun and a bodyarmor. Pretty useless imo.

Well yesterday was not the start date! It starts on the 29th so today!

There's always both. You can still get special crates when there are no events going on.
