I use all of them all the time.

 

Do you find them useful and if so for what situations, or is it mostly just for fun?

Off radar to get more kills. Airstrike to kill guys on the roof. Mercs to slow people down. Bounties to get someone to kill a runner. Blind eye for obvious reasons.

 

 

But all those things although useful in their own way, are just for the hell of it. Which is OK. Other than that I don't see why anyone should sink money into it.

Killing other players is not exactly profitable. :)

I can understand that, although I don't feel the same way about it. I need another incentive. Something like, $500-1k for every kill maybe. Or at least a nice chunk of ammo.

Something like that and I might consider chasing people around. But to actually spend money on all those services...man each kill would have to net me at least $5.000. :lol:

Speaking of off radar. When you mention it, I would actually engage in killing other players if it wasn't for those blips and if the silencers actually worked (correct me if I'm wrong on that).

I don't like that everyone knows where everyone else is. I'm more the silent killer type, the lonewolf lol. But at the same time I'm thinking it might not work very well within GTA Online.

Yes! The double GTA$ and RP was like the only good f*cking weekend event. All we seem to get now is double RP (which is useless after level 130) and discounts on services that nobody even uses in the first place.

 

Hell, i only use the Lose cops, bountys, off the radar and muggers anyway. The only one i might use now is the Cops blind eye. People say that the Airstrike is useless because they never hit the target you're aiming for and the Helicopter backup doesnt do sh*t.

I'd use these abilties more if the phone wasn't so clunky to use.

 

I want to hotkey these abilities. Tapping up brings up the phone, holding up brings up an "abilities wheel" where you pick which you want. You let go, the ability is bought, the character brings out their phone and taps the screen, then you can carry on fighting while lester/pegasus/merryweather etc. say their line.

Yes it works pretty well for me they will follow you around and if anyone around you starts shooting at you or anywhere around you merryweather will attack them. If it's a crowd they start shooting missiles! You can even call them in on survivals to help take out the other helis

I was playing with two friends one time when one of them killed me. I got pissed, killed both of them (the other was laughing), and then called in the backup chopper. I ran out into the open and baited them to fire at me, and the chopper shot them both. They then got pissed at the chopper and tried shooting it down, and the chopper turned my personal backup request into a revenge mission of their own. Not lying when I say the chopper spent the next five minutes spawn killing both of them. They didn't even fire at me once in that time. Maybe if you fire at the chopper it suddenly goes on it's own mission to kill you. We were down at the docks and there was no where to run or grab a car. The chopper was just killing them on sight with no signs of stopping until one of them finally got a shot at the pilot.

 

On topic; I'd kill for the shirt and pants that guy has on in the artwork.

You guys really amaze me. You all bitch and complain that we barley get sh*t in the game but once we do. What happens a repeat cycle. I am very grateful to even have this for the game for a few days. Give them a break damn.

Yea, I think the chopper was definitely meant for foot battles. That way it has an area it needs to cover and it's able to stay there for a while.
