What interests me the most is that this ends on September 7th (a Sunday), meaning we likely won't get an update any time before then.

Kinda obvious that we wouldn't be getting an update that soon, but at least it narrows it down some.

I know.. it's just something more desirable than a price discount on services that people don't even use (airstrikes) or ones that are already dirt cheap (lose wanted level, pegasus fee, etc.).

A lead-up to September's DLC, perhaps? It would of only been 2.5 weeks since Flight School; but there was only 7 days between Hipster and Independence Day DLCs. Like the ID DLC, SAFS was pretty small.

 

Not to mention that I'd be an awfully long time until the 99% probable holiday DLCs (Halloween DLC, Veterans/Armistice Day DLC, X-Mas V2 DLC).

Unlike others, I'm actually sort-of almost-of-half-nearly happy about this. $500 for a mugger sounds great if not for the 10 minute waiting. I think the most used service is "remove cops" because that's what every player wants. Rockstar, REMOVE COPS.

(depending on Rank, funds, if you have a Pegasus heli and are you in a rush or not ofcourse, but really. Who uses any contacts exept from Pegasus and Ammu-Nation (for a Sniper) on that mission? Yes. For instance, this artwork in the OP shows the player calling Lester to remove the cops because they have x-ray vision despite him hiding behind that van.

They removed the level locks too. So they're trying to get people to use these things more.

 

BTW, did 1.16 raise the Airstrike price from 7500 to 8000 or am I misremembering?
