Dry Docking mission - imposssible solo?

I finally managed to finish Dry Docking on my own! I blocked one of the doorways on the ground with a tank and the main doorway near the safe they end up shooting through with my Panto, the combination slowed them enough to give me enough time to unlock the safe. Just before tackling the safe I took the boat to the drop off point so I didn't have another fight on my hands, after the safe I just went to the drop-off point, got in the boat and the mission finished.

 

I also managed to do Stocks and Scares solo, I drove a tank in and blocked the bottom of the main stairs with it, no surpise baddies turned up whilst I was unlocking the door and cracking the safe, and it was the perfect getaway vehicle.

I've soloed this twice, albiet barley. My strategy is when you are cracking the safe just throw an assload of tear gas down the stairs and on the landing. Some just wait for it to clear, and the ones that run in die before they can get too many shots in. That's just my tip though

- Kill all enemies, get rp bonus.

- Doesn't fix infinite spawning enemies.

Glad you did it, but that's far more work than needed for either of these missions.

 

-For Stocks and Scares, there are 6 Merryweather vehicles already there you can use to block the door.

-After cracking the safe, just make it to the parking lot call Merryweather for a helicopter pickup and fly to Lester's lockup.

 

 

-For Dry Docking you really only need to use tear gas at the door and steps leading up if you forget to block the door, the boat and heli that come are easily dealt with.

 

Different strokes for different folks but man that was an elaborate (and time consuming) way of doing those missions.

I was more concerned with actually finishing those two missions than the time it took to do them, plus they were going to run for at least 15 minutes so I could get the $ payout amount to put in the 15+ minutes mission payout list in another thread I started.

 

Also it was fun rolling around in a tank feeling damn near invincible against enemies that are usually a right pain in the arse

I get the same payout even if I finish under the 15 minute mark...I don't think its timed payouts, but rather estimated timed payouts...but that's just my opinion.

Works fine for me. And I do this mission pretty much daily and have been since launch.

Leave proxi-mines on the steps outside the room where the safe is. It’s easy to do solo, even on difficult setting.

Unlimited spawning bad guys piss me off.

It's possible.   Either fill the entrances with teargas or block them with a proxy mine to buy you more time.     A sticky bomb won't won't as you can't manually trigger the bomb or see enemies coming while safe cracking.    So gas or proxy are the best bets.

I always block the back entrance from outside with one of their Mesas, then block the stairs with my PV.
