Barring Patidar, our Indian contingent seems to be in good nick but still early days. Maxi in particular has not had a good start to this IPL but I'm confident he will come good soon. Much as I'd like to see it, doubt Washi will be selected for the Bangladesh tests, he is fourth choice at best. But he should challenge for that off spinner spot once Ashwin calls it a day. I hope he does well in the SL series. He'd slot right in, given the absence of Jadeja. Tbh I'd always wanted him to improve his batting, but him replacing Ash makes more sense. Let's hope the Washington FC has more reason to celebrate this year, lol. The SL Squad... Gill is literally falling upwards lmao. IDK if him being VC is a temporary thing, but if it's not then I hope we get good results from the SKY-Gill-GaGa era. Samson getting shafted, as expected. Rutu too. Still not too sold on seeing both Virat and Rohit on the ODI squad, but Rana and Parag seem great additions. KL and Khaleel again ffs. England hit 416 in a day, and of course, Crawley has gotten out for a duck. A good showing, but I'm certain all of them wished they could've batted for half a day more. String
GaGa era Tough on Sanju and Rutu. They obviously rate Pant and Gill higher but Rutu arguably has better stats than Gill and Pants t20 stats haven't been too flashy despite getting a decent run. I can kind of see why, Gill and Pant do have the superstar vibe. There will be pressure on the two now though 4 hours ago, XNOR said: till not too sold on seeing both Virat and Rohit on the ODI squad ngl I wish Rohit and Virat retired from ODIs too. Jaiswal deserves an ODI cap. 4 hours ago, XNOR said: , but Rana and Parag seem great additions. KL and Khaleel again ffs. Interesting selections with the former two. I like them as well. Glad they are sticking with Parag, and lets see what Harsh*t will offer. I can see why they still stick with KL but ngl I'm bit tired of him too lol They moved on from Abhishek abnormally quickly, perhaps he will get a chance again soon enough probably this will be my ODI XI against SL Rohit Gill VIrat Iyer Pant Dube Axar Kuldeep Rana Arshdeep Siraj Id like to fit Washi but where? If Pandya was there... XNOR 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/734925-general-cricket-thread/page/44/#findComment-1072410334 Share on other sites

String
We lost to a team who didn't qualify for next year's Champions trophy Atleast we still have the 'Sri Lanka never beat India in even a single test match in India' record still. Long may that continue XNOR 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/734925-general-cricket-thread/page/44/#findComment-1072417541 Share on other sites
